Thanks all you guys for your replies. Been working hard on my figures. Hoping to post pictures of my Raiders Indy with Mfisher gear later in the day.

First off I'm just in awe of these recent sculpts, whether it is done by yourself or a customizer the detail and rendering of these pieces are amazing and I would pay for these in the stores! Neo, Amidala, bbl, Silent Surfer and of course Rory and the others on these threads, I bow to your creativity and masterful works! :bow:bow

Here's my recent progress on Indy #2 Going to start my TOD Indy as soon as I'm satisified with this ROTLA piece, I hope I could do it justice like you guys did with yours. bbl and Rory, you guys have the perfect TOD models, I hope mine can be just as good :slap

Hi guys,

Here is my final (mmm maybe not..still need a winston churchill belt :p) ROTLA Indy. Everything is Hot toys except for the Mfisher Gear (belt with holster and whip). Thanks again Mike!

What did I do (inspired by Rorywan and Guyver1):
1. Colored up the headsculpt. Addes reddish to the cheeks and forehead. Made the beard a bit stronger. Added sweat on the face and lips.
2. Painted the pants with textile paint to make them dirty.
3. Made the shirt dirty. Later I dyed the shirt gray using textile paint.
4. Using sandpaper I aged the jacket. Then again using textile paint I painted the jacket adding sand and other dirt. (mixed the most with a lot of water. Multiple layers of paint. Some parts I painted with little water.
5. Painted the head with small amounts to get the sandy feel.
6. painted the body with chesthair and made the chest sweaty. First Varnish gloss mixed with brown paint with lots of water. Then added layer after layer.
7. Painted the hand and added sweat

Pics (natural light, shot with Canon 7D 35-70mm and macro lens):

Looks great Restaura, Here's my almost complete TOD Indy. I spent some time slicing up the shirt and clothing to get it to hang better and finished up weathering the fabric. I have been experimenting with trying to make the skin as fleshy as possible. Putting layers of subtle sheens on etc. I thought about a complete repaint but decided it would ruin the translucency of the plastic.
A few small other things to do, but almost there, I think..

Don't forget to make the mustache area more prominent!

Here is my stock HT Indy with a Joe Strain bullwhip, displayed on the 'Recovery at Serpent Temple' environment. I am planning on eventually getting another HT Indy to keep one stock, and then customize the other.
