WOW RORY!Lookin at your PICS me want to go and make a TOD custom too!Restaurajones i like what you've done and it looks better than the previous one you did!Can someone tell me what color is Indy's coat suppose to be in ROTLA?Also, can you apply sand paper to the Hot Toys coat?^__^

I have a laundry list of Indy projects that is so lengthy they will never be complete... too many interesting characters to build... on my table right now is a Cairo Swordsman (80% done) an Arab thug with german submachine gun from the Cairo scenes (about 80% done as well)... still want to tackle Dovchenko, Katanga, Thuggie guard, Sallah..and on and on..... wish there were a really good white tux jacket with the correct lapels for a TOD Indy.... and the list goes on...

Wor-gar... considering the body is completely covered by the robe I just used an old DML body and drilled out the wrists to accept HT hand pegs... DML body with the Hasbro head (which is actually a decent likeness).. grabbed a SS jedi robe off of ebay and dyed it black... converted one of the HT Indy arab headwraps to fit like the swordsman's and pretty much done... actually looking pretty good... one thing I really want to do is fashion a sword from actual metal.. just have not attempted it yet... shouldn't be too big of an ordeal but I have more ideas than time to execute them !

Oh, you did a real bash. I have the Hasbro Swordsman. And he's a short little squat. Needs to be a head taller than Indy. So I need a taller body than just a DML. I'll replace the red sash, repaint the sword and for 17 sconds of viewing he'll be good enough.

Anyone recommend a body that's nearly 12" tall without the head?

The TRIAD Omega bodies are very tall

There is also a body they used to sell at Storerooms (generic manufacturer) is probable the tallest but very skinny (narrow shouldered)

I think the DML Army/navy football players were taller than the average DML

That TOD Indy looks awesome!! Will you be my friend and make me one too? :)

I'm surprised with all the love for making a TOD Indy, that more people don't love the movie. A lot of people on these boards put TLC above TOD. My order is:

TOD - LOVE IT
ROTLA - Really like it
TLC - I like it

Another Kato shirt in the dumpster.. That shirt really adds to the custom. The HT one is too thick.
balls of steel, I tell ya.:clap

:)

I don't know if it's balls of steel.
The weathering is the same either it's a kato shirt and any shirt available.

The kato shirt is just more expensive but I do not fear, I know what i'm doin' :lol
