LOL!

Is anyone actually working on Indy!? I am, but only on the upper torso of the body. I'm working on getting the flesh just right. When I'm happy and done with that I might just progress to a head. Not the hatted one just yet, I want to get the unhatted one looking top notch before I do that.

Who knows, maybe my WGP head will arrive soon, stranger things have happened....

I'm working on a german indy. Got some parts in but not all. Did the facejob on him, but i need to match the rest as it comes.

I remodded parts of my tod indy a while ago. Here are some pics. These are iphone pics so he looks better in real life.

Looking great man! May I ask where or how did you do the rope bridge Diorama? Love it!

Thanks everyone. Put a lot work into him. I made the diorama from clay from the local toyshop. Then i drilled holes into them. Painted them grey, added the markings and finished them with fullers earth. They should be a bit wider though, but by the time i realized that they were already painted. I was going to make a full dio with part of the bridge and was going fix the ropes into the ground but when i was done it didn't felt nessesary plus it wouldn't have fit into my case :p.

The ropes were something else. I took some rope and wrapped thin iron wire around them. Then i unraffled small rope pieces from some herbal soap package from the wife :). I glued then vertically along the rope. Then while the glue was still wet i horizontally started wrapping it tight on some parts. Then added a little iron wire and coverer it up with more pieces put it through the clay and did extra wrapping at the end to make it stick. Then i could bend them into shape. That's it.

Robert

Yeah, nice set up, and you have made the figure look good too.

Mine keeps going three steps forward and two back, I will succeed....

Hi,

Well i got a lot more :). Have an entire indy collection including grail tablet, leap of faith painting, orrelana dagger, voodoo dol and pin, headpieces etc. Will post pictures tonight.

Thanks,

Wow, bbl, I just spotted Nurhaci's Urn... and the Grail. Nice prop collection!

bbl, your TOD Indy is one of the best I have seen! Would love to see more pics. Did you mod the hat?

Thanks guys. There should be more pictures in the custom indy thread. I posted several progress pics. Could be a while ago. I used hot water on the hat and bended it here and there and i used fullers earth on it.

Here are some pics of my indy collection:
