Is that the Relic Hunter shirt? I just took that off mine to swap for a DX shirt. I also noticed you didn't use Inigous' hat, is that the HT one? As good as Henry looks, that head is way oversized. I used the Headplay sculpt on mine and it looks really good:

The SSC hat and glasses fit that really well and the proportions are much better. Other than that, Rocco's Henry is really nice.

Everything on the DX is stock except the head. I decided to use the DX hat because the Inigou hat seemed slightly too big to me. I will eventually swap the SS body on Henry but I am happy with the head but I do agree it is a bit large

Yeah, I sometimes think the Inigou hat does look a little tall. It looks better when put on the MJ head, which is sort of what Marf did though his MJ head was recast and shrunk. Your DX shirt makes me feel happier using it on mine. One thing I did notice was that my hatless SSC head is larger than my hatted one. I could have sworn they were the same size. That said, I soaked that hatted head so many times in many different things, it wouldn't surprise me if it shrank some along the way. It still looks good to me though, and I rank it as the definitive head still, but that's just my personal taste.

The body is done and the head is primed and ready for base flesh, yes folks, 2016 will be when I complete, yes, complete, my Indy!

Figured I would post a few pics of my finished Indy. I finally had a chance to slap him all together.

That really shows just how big that MJ head is, accentuated greatly by the hat. Inigou does have an Indy Mk2 in the works and I don't doubt that one or more will be on your desk before long. The general look of yours is really nice though and there's no mistaking who it is.

The MJ hat is a tad to small. So it makes the head appear larger. I pointed that out before it was actually released. In hand the sculpt looks fine. It is the same size or nearly close to most Hot Toys sculpts I have on my shelf. I still need to adjust a few things on the figure but im happy with it so far.

It can be surprising how cameras change things. The head on my Henry (a few panels up) looks small in the pic, but the proportions are just right in hand. It always seems odd to me that sculptors do what they claim is a Raiders Indy and yet few do the Raiders hat. Inigou did but it was a tad tall. His new Raiders Indy is dead on though, that said, he needs to be careful who it's cast by as his current Indy came out elongated when cast. That is a thing you notice a lot with 3D printed heads though. Some of it can be the virtual camera settings in ZBrush and discrepancies between that and what the printer settings are and what happens to the mould when cast.

These aren't the Indy Alden 405's by the way. These are the Indy Alden "J crew" version. HT did get the boots right. :wave

You know, something else has bothered me about Indy outfits, nobody has done what can be considered a definitive pair of Alden 405's in 1/6. If you think the HT ones are awesome, just look at this pic of an actual Alden 405:

You can see there that the HT ones are way, way off. Theirs look like 70's disco boots with the stack heels. Hasbro got reasonably close bar the sole and heel colours. SSC didn't, and so, we still need a definitive pair before any of our Indys will truly be complete.

You're such a debbie downer Rogerbee. :slap

I've noticed that you can never give a compliment without always critiquing someone's figure. Geez.

I wouldn't say that. Unlike others, I don't blow smoke up people's *****. I call it how I see it. We're all striving to do the best Indy we can and constructive criticism is how we push to get there. I already know my Indy isn't perfect, and nor will it ever be as I can't afford to do that. If someone can afford it then they need to know what is available to them.

Nothing wrong with constructive criticism. :)

I do think MJ's is the best though... but the finished sculpt isn't as good as the uncasted original sculpt. :lol Same with Trevor's.

I wish Trevor could sculpt a Harrison Ford portrait that isn't ruined by production. :(

I hope Beastmaster casts his eventually...

It's only the production paint that throws off Trev's Raiders Indy, stripped and repainted it's up there with MJ's. Beastmaster only works for himself. His thread is not, despite how it might appear, an interest thread. It's more a portfolio.

I've repainted that sculpt it is good for 2008....but there are better options available to us this day and age.
