Looks to have been a lot going on here recently, a lot of good bashes coming through too. I've got a LOT to do before I can get anywhere near mine, all I can say regarding a time frame is 'this year'! I was not impressed with the TOD Indy that SSC did, such a waste of an opportunity, looks like custom wins the day yet again. I don't think there will ever be a factory Indy that is 100% right. Looking forward to seeing what you lot do with Inigo's Indy V2.

Inigou Customs v2 headsculpt. Looks really good. Hopefully the sales thread will go live soon. image.jpegimage.jpeg

Looking good. But these custom heads are always so nerve-racking - between the cost of the sculpt and the paint-up, it comes out the same or (in top-level painter cases) more than a full HT (or SSC) figure just for a head. :gah:

Or when you buy the V1 and hadn't even received it before the (improved, in my opinion) V2 is teased/revealed on Inigou's Facebook page. :gah:

I'd love to see a comparison picture of the ver1 and the ver2. Hopefully this one will be a touch larger.

Definitely a big improvement over the first version (which always looked way too narrow for my taste), but somehow not as spot-on as it appeared in the digital sculpt. Although it could just be the paintup and how pale they've made him...

The custom route is a fast-track to a $1000 figure once you factor in a $300 top-level painted head, Kato gear, HT body and boots etc.

Really wish someone would just nail this character already and save us all tens of thousands of $$$.:lol

Also the camera lens used... It's amazing how much distortion you get with a lot of camera phones and even with a regular camera lens if you're shooting with a wide lens. It's really easy for a head to appear distorted or out of scale with the body in photos but much better in-hand. Hopefully this one from Inigo is a winner, loving the painted pics so far.

Could be I'm just biased as I own one, but I'd say the v1 is a much better likeness. To each his own, I guess.

V1 has a bit of an older Jake Glyhenhall in there somewhere, even though I really like the sculpt a lot. Lower face really captures HF nicely, though overall face is just a touch thin looking as DaveJames says.

I would say V1 and V2 are almost equal in the likeness department. I lke Ingiou's sculpt a bit more than the MJ CHoi one (except that one paint-up of the Choi that was incredible.)

I'm sorry, but all I see in the new sculpt is Hugh Jackman with a fedora. I'll stick with V1

My WIP. Jake i love the paint you put on V1. Be great to get your view on the V2, but i honestly really love this sculpt.

I'll still get a V2 as i have a thing for seeing how all the different Fedora's fit.
