So I finally broke down and purchased a True Type narrow shoulder body for my Indy. I am going to sound like a broken record, but the tune is just so good that it bares repeating anyway. For those that are still considering switching out the body, don't consider any further, just do it. It makes a HUGE difference, even if you don't plan on doing any further updates (gear, repaint) which I don't.

I went ahead and just tightened the Pro body with the old tried and true method...superglue in the joint, keep moving the joint while it dries. It worked. He doesn't flap around like a doll anymore. I HAVE an extra TT, but I think the Pro is actually pretty good...did anyone post any pics side-by-side of Indy on the Pro and Indy on the TT?

Yup, right here in this very thread! Happy hunting... :monkey3

Loose joints was a reason I switched to a TT body, but a small one. The Pro body's torso is too short and Indy looked dumpy. Also his ab articulation made him hunch over, not helping the short torso any. The clothes hang on the TT much better, and he is now all around a more solid figure. He now looks like an adventurer waiting for an adventure, rather than a cosplayer looking for a convention.

Here's my little "experiment":

I wanted to have Indy with his hat tipped like Sideshow's KotCS PF so I cut of some of the hair from the unhatted head. His wearing Hasbro clothes.

I was looking at SS Captain Antilles the other day and thought the sculpt might just pass for a young (ROTLA) Marcus Brody. Just wanted to get some opinions:

A bit of paint might make it a bit more passable. Perhaps a little dremmel work to cut down some of the hair?

I think you need to age it a bit more as well (around the eyes especially) , but I think you have found a good substitute for a real Marcus Figure

the biggest thing that sculpt lacks.. and could possibly be remedied.. is fuller, rounder cheeks.. but it would be a good start for a custom..
