When did this change from pictures of everyone's awesome Indy customs, to let's continually ^^^^^ about custom pieces we haven't received?!

Someone enquired about the best jacket to buy, someone suggested Sovereigns'. I said that I was still trying on that. The orignial person questioned it may be a long wait and I answered them.

Logic would say when no one has parts to make their customs.

Bingo.

Where the hell were the mods when we had to endure pages of your political BS rant in the Cobra thread? :whip

Or your irrelevant one-offs? A majority of your posts are just pics because you can't even carry a coherent conversation. :lol But hey, I guess it's okay with you since you support the people who condoned 911, right?

In fact some light dry brushing on the corners and seams really can bring a lot out on the SS jacket. It also helps to paint up the straps in the back to match the jacket which to me is a real pet peave.

Thought I would share a few pics of this with all of the fellow Indyphiles....

My first attempt at this large of a dio. I'm happy with it, but it certainly could've been better (seeing that one dude's "Death Star Swing dio" makes me hurt all over).

She's not entirely finished yet, but I plan on fixing hooks to the back so I can hang it on the wall. It's 1:6 scale, standing 3' 8", 16" across, and 7.5" deep at it's thickest point.

I have great admiration for all you guys that take on these large, scale environments for 1/6 figures, they're an amazing accomplishment. Nice work on the bridge, how would you set up figures on that to keep them from taking a tumble, short term they could probably hold on fine, but long term you'd probably want something to keep them in place.

Thanks for the + comment.

Well I made the top of the base deep enough to house my Short Round peering over the edge on his knees, so he should be pretty stable. I figure we'll never see a Willie, and I'll probably never get around to making one, so I'm not worried there.

For Indy and Mola Ram, I'll keep them hanging from the bridge. I've reinforced each plank with an extra plank glued to the back for that purpose. Plus, there's enough dangling twine around that I could probably keep their wrists wrapped up well enough that if their hands ever slipped they would hold fast.

The bridge is damn sturdy. Shortly after I finished it, I was moving it around like a premature baby (gross analogy, sorry) but it's built pretty damn solid.

I dunno about better, that looks pretty damn insane, dude. Great work. And one helluva setpiece for your figures. Hanging it on the wall is a terrific idea.
