Yes we shall definitely be hit with custom charges too. Not sure yet whether I shall saddle up.

The Regular would be about £327 with VAT and the Deluxe about £382, plus the courier fee.

I never feel that their quality justifies the cost. The weapons in particular were a let down with Rooster. They use metal but they don't have the same level of detail as LIM Toys or VTS/DAM. Then there was the cheap and useless stand that certainly didn't sell the idea of a 'high end' product.

If I went for any version it would be Regular because, to me, Sam looks so bad. It's reminiscent of Hot Toys' Einstein.

The main attraction of the figure is as a cavalry scout rather than as a depiction of Wayne as Hondo. (Though there's no hiding the belt loops, unless the shirt is long enough when untucked).

I'll wait for Kit's price, but either way he's going to be expensive compared to a higher quality and better equipped DID figure.

My friend, my sentiments too. Makes Josey Wales look even better.

Exclusive saddle isn't worth the web exclusive.

Will get deluxe. Even the extra price of Sam isn't worth it...might "settle" for the standard.

Ordered exclusive no hesitation. Need everything and will give the shirt to one of my kids cause I wear XXL :monkey3 Will definitely order a second one from Sideshow with rewards, or Kit with points as for a backup. Anything that bothers me once in hand will easily be modded to my liking just like every other figure I buy. This will be a nice addition and glad to have a company making so many icons in 1/6, especially John Wayne. Keep ‘em coming KP!!!

Despite Hollywood generally giving everyone fitted clothing, that wasn’t the case during the actual Old West. Most clothes were made one size fits all, and it was pretty common for clothes to have to be either rolled up, or hemmed (if one could afford a seamstress, or had a wife).

Considering John Wayne was almost 6' 4", and his turn ups are about 4", Hondo must've been shopping for clothes in Texas. 😜

Authentic western clothing scale by Battlegear Toys is as close as it may get, however because of westerns films we have the Hollywood closer cut. A number of recent westerns have been more realistic with clothing and genre.

For me too loose is too much and too little could be too tight.

Speaking of BG Toys does anybody know if their western pants/jeans and braces fit the LimToys Arthur Morgan? Looking to put some alternative looks for him using the stock body and need clothes not too loose/tight. Any help much appreciated 😊

I use Worldbox AT20 Pro bodies comparable to Lim Toys, the BG clothing and braces work although pants legs are quite full/wide as they would have been. The Lim Toys pants are in my view too tight.
