The pro isn't a bad body. I love how some act like its this awful piece of crap. I've yet to get a bad one honestly.

I dig the pro, I only got one bad one honestly. I just think Indy looks better on a filed down TT and hopefully even better with the narrow shoulder one. Although I thought someone on here had the narrowed shoulder one around with Indy on it and it looks phenomenal.

It's not the quality people are bummed about Indy coming on it for, it's that the first Pro is on the shorter side, where the new Pro is taller.

Sorry I haven't read through this whole thread to check but did anybody else think that the thread title "KOTCS" meant Knights Of The Cruciform Sword from IJ&TLC? I was gonna post how "Sideshow is digging deep into the minor characters for this one". That woulda been cool.....a little obscure...but cool. Especially with the fez and all.

Thinking about getting the 1/6 KOTCS - but, I may just buy a parted-out Crystal Skull, and wait in hopes of a TOD battle damaged Indy. I have the Raiders Indy, and wouldn't mind having a second to bookend the shelf ... but I think a ripped-shirt TOD with a saber might be a better look.

Maybe I'll just see if the KOTCS hits ebay for $50-$60.

The Exc. fridge will make for an interesting display option-- I'm going to suspend it in the air at an angle as it was when it flew over the commies' car... post-explosion.

I'm finding I like KOTCS Indy figure more than Raiders. There's just something really cool about the older portrait, the "jowls" and everything, there's much more interesting character to Ford's portrait in his oder age than when he was younger I think.

I ordered both the exclusive and the regular, mainly because I'm just not sure how I'd incorporate the fridge into a display and may decide to let it go. Its awesome, and hilarious, and totally cool that SSC made it but I'm wondering how much I'll appreciate a 1/6 scale refrigerator months and years after the novelty and humor wears off.

At the risk of sounding like a complainer I almost wish the exclusive was the shovel, RPG, or even the dead tree branch he beats Dovchenko with, just because he would have been able to hold any of those in a more action oriented pose.

You know what's hilarious about the Fridge exclusive? When Sideshow first submitted the prototype (figure & fridge) to Lucasfilm for approval, they thought it was a joke and passed around the pictures in the LFL offices ("Hey, check out the joke the Sideshow guys played on us... there's a fridge in the pics with the figure! Hahaha") Then Sideshow tells LFL, "Uh, that's not a joke... we really wanna make that as the Exclusive item." LFL responds, "Really? Even better!"

I wish things worked that smoothly between LFL and licensees all the time!

HAHA! That's my plan too...I plan to get 2 (one regular, one exclusive)...Indy with jacket and full gear will be 'teaches part time' pose with whip and gun...Indy with fridge will be sans jacket and gun-belt. Maybe with one foot up on the open fridge leaning over it (similar to the PF pose, but without the jacket...)

I'd eventually like to build a KOTCS display of Indy standing atop some wooden crates with the appropriate stenciling to recreate the warehouse look.. I had thought of perhaps doing that with the PF Indy actually.. who knows... ( heck.. I still haven't finished my 1/6 Belloq or PF Raiders Indy ! )

I was hoping SSC would make a solid KOTCS Indy figure and I'm glad they delivered. TOD is the movie I want to see the most figures from but I hope they give us a couple more from KOTCS as well.
