It's so shiny... Surely they saw this and was like it's looks bad

Oh youre right! I hadn’t watched his review untill now so i took a look and he mentions theyre on a ratchet those soles looked completely solid in the photos!

Finally ordered through Alter Ego Comics. Overall it looks great and I just love black suit/symbiote suit Spidey so couldn’t pass on it.

Very nice review, I love how this is presenting so much stronger than anticipated.

I'm a huge fan of the black costume, so bear with me and my obligatory PSA:

It's so painfully common for people to think SW 8 is the first appearance of the symbiote suit, but it is not. You'll find plenty of listings on ebay that say it is, and my LCS even had one labeled as such. SW 8 is the origin of the black costume, it's dated 12/84. Amazing Spider-man 252 is dated 05/84. That makes SW8 somewhere around the symbiote's 20th published appearance, I'm guessing. If anyone tries to sell you Secret Wars 8 on the strength that it is the first appearance, it is not. That honor goes to ASM 252, with Marvel Team Up 141 and Spectacular Spider-Man 90 tied for second place.

This looks great. I too was on the fence, but took the risk since I loved the Wolverine. Glad I did. I ditched all my NECA/Hasbro crap and went 1/6 scale.

I never really pose my figures due to be sort of new, a few years and planning to move out of my city.

Does Spandex rebound, say if I keep this posed in a dynamic way for a year or will it stay stretched out? I am worried about stretching the suit permanently.

So far …the spandex they used is really designed well and it’s withstand extreme poses like the video reviews stated IMO
