Re: KOTCS Indy.... in hand !!!!!
By the way, so much for the theory some had of this being canceled.

pants are waay too baggy, like a rapper
Better than the Raiders Indy (marginally), but I already canceled my pre-order. It's really hard to get excited by something like this after you've seen the HT T2 Arnold. I just can't afford to drop $100+ on mediocre figures anymore, not with HT giving us T1, T2, Reeve Superman and Tron in 2010.

Just the head remains on the above pics. The start of this thread has him fresh out of the box with nothing altered.
The daylight pics were mostly to show the head sculpt. And I am starting to agree with an earlier post I read, the hat is not in scale above the ribbon level, it needs to be more stove pipe like (wider and maybe about 1/5 taller taller). An easy fix with Tamiya Epoxy Putty, some sanding and a re-paint.
I agree the figure looks good, but Sideshow needs to step up its game. Hot Toys is taking over.
I think that's why, other than Star Wars, all their 1/6 lines go on 'hold' or 'pause'. Rumors have been circling for a while that SS is phasing out of the 1/6 game to focus solely on PF's, Dios, Busts, etc.
Works for me, as long as HT can pick up 1/6 lines I love (like Indy). At least the SS PF's are pretty amazing. Most LOTR/SW and ALL Indy pieces so far are incredible from them in the 1/4 format IMO.
