I see they finally learned how to make decent pockets.

Make sure you're looking at the first pics at the start of the thread! Faststreets has heavily modded the figure since getting it adding his own custom-made clothing and leather goods. The photo a few posts above your own is the figure after his modifications.

Yeah, mine is for the non-ex too. Sounds like you'd be the authority with both on PO but it doesn't surprise me that the EX would be shipping after the reg.

Anyone with the ex on PO get a notice?

I'm putting mine on a Narrow, partly just to keep it consistent with my Raiders Indy, other than the clothes and Ford head, they'd look like two different people next to each other with one on the Narrow and one on the tiny Pro.

I just got my first Indy figure yesterday in the mail, it is the Sideshow Raiders one. Even though I was prepared because of all the reviews I have to say that the loose joints are annoying. Still, I love the figure and my disappointment was tempered because I expected it.

My question now is, how does the body of the KOTCS Indy compare with Raiders? I also wonder if the heads from each are compatible with each other. if so, i may pick up the KOTCS and use the extra body to make a custom Temple of Doom figure with the hat-less head from the Raiders set. Then I could I swap the two hat-heads from each set back and forth on the better body in the complete Raiders' gear depending on my mood for old or young Indy.

Yup. Appears to have the same proportions as German Indy making the hat look undersized.

You could do that, but I would highly suggest that you trade up to a Hot Toys body. Check out this thread for lots of info on how to upgrade your Indy's ... and yes, you could switch heads on the new (or even the old) body.

The SS shirt looks like a better pattern than the previous one, or is it the same and does it have the cut in the fabric again?

Also is the hat the same as before or is it a new sculpt?
