Uhgghh! Some financial issues have arisen and I had to cancel for the time being.... How crappy, but I need that $100 to go elsewhere ATM. Can't wait to see all the pics though! :joy

I won't be getting mine until May now.

Me too. Had to switch my Indy EX to FLEX since I have the Count Dooku PF coming from an e-tailer in a few weeks and that's going to eat up nearly $300!

Can't wait to see everyone's fun pics with the fridge. SS and I will catch up with you all in May. :D

Sorry to hear that, Flosi. I guess you were able to cancel before the item status changed in your account?

He's still available at the online retailers so I don't think you'll have a problem finding him later.

Yeah, I managed to cancel right at the last second, I'd assume. :monkey2

I'm sure I'll be able to get him down the line... :D

Mine processes on Monday. I was hoping my card wasn't going to have any more on it till after the closing date on the 10th. I have 3 other figures process on the 5th and 8th too. Sideshow is KILLING ME!!!!! :lol

Re: KOTCS Indy.... in hand !!!!!

This is just my opinion, but if I bought a figure and I had to repaint the face, give it a new body and make new clothes for it, I wouldn't buy it to begin with.

Re: KOTCS Indy.... in hand !!!!!

Agreed "Ween". I'm not a customizer but I am happy with the 1/6 line. I have all of the Sideshow releases. They are way better than anything that has been released so far. Belloq is the only one that really let me down. Toht's glasses. Ugh.
The customizers like to do customs and I applaud that if you have the cash to do it. It's a hobby kind of thing. Fun but expensive.
I"ll still buy 1/6 Indy figures if Sideshow revives the line.

Re: KOTCS Indy.... in hand !!!!!

Karloff,
I'm new here, so forgive this question: is the 1/6 line officially dead, or is this speculation? I would love to see a 1/6 Sallah to go with Indy and the Ark.

It's on "pause" whatever that means so you can take inference from that and draw your own conclusion. As for Sallah, Sideshow said in one of their Q&A's that Sallah and Marion were not likely to get made.

Nice review Dino! Also besides the TT what can the SSC heads be transferred to? Is it hard to transfer him to say a Soldier Story body?

I transferred my ROTLA Indy to a Soldier Story body with about 30min. of labor. I enlarged the neck ball with some fiberglass and superglue, building up layers till I got a snug fit. Then I had to Dremel out the wrist holes and ankles to accommodate the larger Sideshow plugs. Indy looks stellar on that body. Some folks cut away part of the ankles, but he looks great to me as it now stands.

You can transfer the head to a soldier story.
All you have to do is fill blue tac inside the top half of the head for a temporary hold. Use epoxy clay for a permanent hold.
If you just immerse the peg and not the neck, the head can still move.

Re: KOTCS Indy.... in hand !!!!!

Just got KOTCS Indy today. Impressed with the paint job, the weathering on the clothes looks great and the Pro's joints are all nice and tight but Jesus H. Christ is that noggin a bobblehead! His noggin's so big the hat looks disproportionate, almost like one of those silly kid cowboy hats:

cough...Faramir...cough. You've gotta consider the very real fact that as hardcore as the Star Wars fans are, they aren't nearly as butt-tight as some of the Indy fans. The only issue I had was the body-swap. Other than that, I was fine with Indy.

Whenever they say a line is "on hold" it usually means they're moving on to other genres of collectibles and leaving 1:6 behind. They've done this with all but 3 of their 1:6 lines. Assuming Indy's done, which is highly likely given the availability of the figures, both regular and exclusives still available on their website, Star Wars, G.I. Joe and The Dead (which may already be done) are the only three 12" lines they're producing ATM.
