Re: CB's bits. Guyver, Horror, 40K, Star Wars, 2000AD, Marvel, DC.

I wanted to see what i could make with bits i have laying about so i made a Commando Spawn last night.

I had to sculpt the torso as it was just a standard TT. He still needs touch ups as well.

I'm not sure about the headsculpt though as i done it in 30 minutes while watching tv lol.

I actually like the coat lol. I was gonna resculpt the rest of the arms and do the big red arm guard etc, but ive never been a huge fan of that look with the chains etc.

Gotta say i was pleasantly suprised with the result and ease of sculpting the neck, abs, pecs, ribs, shoulders etc on the torso. Much cheaper than buying a muscle TT and took about an hour to do.

I think he need a red scarf or something.

Yeah he needs some red so i'll think about that tonight cheers man :)

Sculpting heads in 30 minutes?!? :horror :bow

Yeah spawn doesn't exactly have a very detailed head to begin with lol. I used a hot toys head to sculpt over. I lopted off the nose and ears and used some oval shaped nail head jobbies for the eyes, saves sculpting them :)

I really like the red wash on the liner. Maybe just grime up the outside of the jacket ?
