Curious what parts are better than the VTS and Art Figure parts I mixed to make my old figure.
if you did not upgrade the shirt maybe the shirt and cut it up a little and weather it.

the leathers are good but looks thick and isnt show accurate.

the head looks like slight improvement over vts at least the hair.

the seamless wrist is really overkill since he wears the paracord that hides it. they could actually use real paracord bracelets like what we did...

the vest looks like the brown vts which isnt as good as Artfigures and lacks weathering.

cant see the leg braces.

the hands look good but imo not worth getting just for the upgrades.

cant see the weapons, but who cares about the weapons.

I've heard that the factories used for 1/6 are quite incestuous, which also goes for the 'teams' that come together under brands to produce figures. It's apparently a relatively small world.

I imagine there are people in the factories making extra copies for the purpose of providing them to a 'team' or 'teams' for recasting later.
normally custom artists make their own mold and cast them.

factories, just receive an original copy or a cheap recast and recast them.

Lots of photos here:

Out of the box the 'leather' looks more like a wet suit:

I have been dreaming about this doll for a long time and have been looking forward to its delivery.
I finally got it.
If you are a military model enthusiast, you will definitely like this one
. There are a lot of accessories, and they can basically be installed on the body.
The clothes are also made of lambskin. Don't worry about the skin breaking.
When installing the accessories
, I also installed them according to the stills. I was surprised to find that it basically restored everything in the stills.
After all, it is very troublesome to customize this vest.
For players with high requirements, you can adopt the strategy of changing the head.
There is absolutely no problem with the clothes and accessories.
As for the installation of accessories, you can refer to my pictures for placement.
Next, let's take a look at this one together.

Looks more like a rubbery pleather with a machine stamped pattern than "lambskin".

Nevertheless after some weathering the reviewer improved its appearance:

i dont have any Tom Hardy Mad Max 1/6 version because i didnt really like the available (affordable) head sculpts.
but this looks pretty good?

Looks pretty good definitely the best max out of the box

Unfortunately am gonna pass on this one , can't afford him right now 😖 and I'm ok with my custom Max

He can't even hold the rifle fully with those hands.
Yeah, I don't get the whole seamless arms thing. They're extremely limited. People make an issue about wrist joints and the like, "ruining the illusion...", and I'm thinking, "And, (insert character/actor here) isn't 12 inches tall either..." . I digress.

This turned out better than expected for Present Toys. Seems they're upping their production game.

It would be nice if they gave us a range of fixed-wrist arms with useful hands. I like the idea, especially for someone like Cairo Indy, but the execution so far has been very limited with awkward poses.

Hmm don’t love the headsculpt in those shots, not as close to the Gesus as I was hoping. Obviously you can only expect so much from a third-party figure at this price point but I’m glad I didn’t jump on this before it closed at OSK.

The headsculpt looks worse than one on promo pics. Looks like they desided to use a different one. With Ripley they improved, here it looks a downgrade.

I think it looks good. The clothing material looks a bit weird, the pants are too thick / stiff but its useable with some modifications.
Maybe the body proportions look a little off in some of the photos?
Something about the head size and neck length
