1/6 Scale Sideshow Bossk Figure

What do you guys think... is this a wandering eye or what?



I don't think it's so much that the right eye is too far out, but from what I've seen from the photos it seems like most bossk v2 eyes both have that larger space from the inside corner of the eye, so it looks like the farther out eye is correct and the more centered eye is incorrect? is that right? I don't know if it bothers me enough for a replacement, but they are definitely not evenly done. So I'm thinking about it.

Has anyone removed the outfit yet and if so is it extremely complicated? Sideshow sent me this replacement body because the leg on mine was damaged and I have very little skills by way of customizing and futzing and stuff so you have to completely undress one figure then redress another while attaching limbs is a bit daunting. I want to know what kind of a headache I am in for.

No, but your pic and situation at least confirms that the v.2 body is exactly the same as v.1 - except, like the skin, green instead of tan-mustard.

If they sent you just the body and not the uniform then SSC feels it's an easy switch over Hellion. I've had a issue with another figure's costume and they sent me the whole thing, body already suited in the uniform, I had to destroy the original. I've never undressed this figure so I can't help you specifically here. Just take your time unbuckling things.

It's a complete nightmare and I would definitely demand a full replacement. I tried to remove just a few things on the figure and ended up ruining several parts. This figure makes undressing Boba Fett look like child's play.

I've watched the few video reviews and seeing all the online pictures, not to mention I've closely inspected three in hand..and they all have messed up eyes. None of them (especially the right eyes) are fully painted. So from what I can tell of yours, it definitely looks better than some for sure.

Finally got around to displaying my Bossk. I really like this figure. I can't wait to complete the set with Dengar and Zuckuss.

How's the body on the new version? I have the first version and it's a little floppy...

I've been looking for a good replacement.

(Edit) scratch that. Reading back I can see it's likely the same body. Any other suggestions or is removing the suit too hard?

The one I own is not floppy at all. I'm not sure you can remove the suit without damaging any of the small wires on the outside of the flight suit. I think it would be impossible. I'd be curious myself to know if anyone attempted to remove the suit.

I use black metal stands for most of my figures. I use the crotch grabber post that comes with each figure and the metal base of the stand. The brand is Kaiser Doll Stands #2175. I like them because they are flat to the surface you are displaying the figures on.

Ordered this one a couple of hrs ago from Sideshow as I had a $25 off code that was about to expire and it was showing on the product page as low stock remaining. Was surprised to see it's now showing as wait-listed.

Hoping I like this version. I've got the original Boba and IG-88 from a few years ago, but I passed on the original Bossk. Anyway, looks like if I'd waited any longer, I would have missed out again.
