Bossky boxed...

I don't care -- I'm painting those lids orange on the screaming head!!!

OK, so here's my 18 cents...

Excellent figure from Sideshow. Feels far different than what I'm used to from them, and I like it.

Bossk is really heavy and study. He comes wrapped in plastic -- not the whole thing but individual areas to keep things neat. Great stuff, even if its a pain to un-wrap.

The new non-gloss box is very nice. Weird at first but nice. Both heads came loose in my box -- the reg head looked like it was attached until I pulled him free. I'm glad it was off as I got to easily swap head -- you don't even need to secure them -- but just a warning to others if this is common.

The detail on this guy is insane. Love all the bits, gonna take some time to actually appreciate it all. The "wire" from the ring around his neck down the front is bendable. There's little loose "grenades" on his belt, wires and gizmos all over; just terrific detail.

On the down side, the incredible detail makes the figure somewhat fragile. Not sure what's gonna break but I feel something will.

Also, the suit is "smooshed" on the arms and difficult to get the right look due to the black rings at the elbows being solid plastic so you can pull the sleeves down any further on the suit. Would have liked rubber rings so I had some room to work with.

That's about it for the issues. This thing so far is very problem free. I think most people will be blown away by the not-the-usual Sideshow clothing bits. This figure really feels like a hybrid between figures like Fett and HT figures like Bespin Luke.

Last thing, the jaw connection is luck of the draw I guess because my lower jaw seems better set than I was expecting after the initial pics...

Bossk is the ****!!! It's hard to argue with this being the best so far in the Star Wars series; everything on him is top-notch and straight out of the box looks great!

I'll probably stick with the non-snarling head for the most part, but I found the snarling could look pretty cool in a more actoin-oriented pose.

I'll ad before igot this guy I was concerned this guy was going to get broke swapping head, hands & feet but they all seem to swap out easily not loose, but not tight either ( that's what she said )

That GIF actually shows you how the eye lids work I guess.

Last crap pic of the night -- Pavarotti Bossk...

But yes he's holding his gun correctly. Just reversed hands.

The funny thing about this scene, is that it's much more calm than I remember. In my mind, I think of it as "Mega Pacino".

Thanks, outlander!

I really can't get over how heavy this figure is, and how sturdy and solid it feels. With the box change and all, SIDESHOW is really making a statement that its moved up to the next level.

I definitely think its worth the extra bucks. I wish they did this for Fett. But this is great news for Vader. For those with the KP02 body mod on Vader, Bossk feels like that.

With all the DX12 excitement, I completely forgot about this guy. Mine gets here Tues, but looking at all the pics so far, this seems like a winner and one of Sideshow's best.
