Looked like a Toe broke off in one of the last pictures in the Rebelscum gallery...

I ended up super gluing part of his vest down a bit - nothing major, just enough to reduce the puffy aspect a bit

Actually, a toe was missing. I had to break one off the action foot to shoot the full PA

Bossk has always been my favorite character. I'm not a MASSIVE SW fan anymore, but i'm really interested to pick him up.

Shame the snarling head isn't being sold all over Ebay like a HT head usually would. But to be honest, the original is what i came for.

Yeah, the SCC Bossk seems to be following a trend in "reimagining" Bossk that has been going on for a while. The trend started around '04 with the GG mini bust - the Hasbro "open mouth" 3 3/4" and Unleashed figures released the same year (the inspiration for the excl SSC sculpt) did not have the newer detailing such as the new head shape, huge plates at the back of the head and "horns."

Still, the "new" Bossk is very cool looking, just not screen accurate to ESB. Here is Bossk (ROTJ - so head is not quite as rounded as in ESB) mask, Hasbro 12", GG Mini bust and SSC...

I'd like to see if the hasbro head would make the figure look more ESB screen accurate.

I'd try and repaint bossk just to get a closer colour to on screen, and to also remove the wash look that makes it look like he doesn't wash behind his scales

Got to find one first though, none at UK retailers yet (or ever?!?)

Ah, I nearly pre-ordered 1 of those £99 ones, but always had problems with FP's online side. Hoping to see it in 1 of the shops sometime

I got the exclusive from Sideshow, which, after customs and Fed-Ex fee, came to £146.64. About £40 more than he would have been if I'd ordered a while back from one of the UK Forbidden Planets (they originally had him listed at £99.99), but I really wanted that exclusive head.

One Ebay seller in the UK is offering the exclusive for £210.99, which puts the value of the extra head at over £100!

I'm in Ireland and I went the SS direct flexpay route cos I wanted the snarling sculpt. God knows how much I will be ht for by customs. The Irish governments Paddy Tax is somewhere around 25% of the toal value of the item. Eeeeeek!

I had initially had both Bossk and the Tusken ordered through Forbidden planet for £99 + Shipping each but FP never got the Tusken in stock so I wasn't holding out any hope for Bossk so I cancelled both orders and went the direct route for Bossk. I picked up the Tusken from a seller in Holland.

My first and only direct from SSC was IG-88, because that vibroaxe meant a lot, it symbolised he exists outside of just standing on a bridge in ESB, he at least existed to go over to his locker they gave him and get his giant knife out! All off camera of course.

Anyway, that cost me about £170 in total

One time I ordered (not pre-ordered) a gamorrean from fp.com, it never shipped so after a week I sent e-mails but kept getting no reply, I cancelled.. many many months later they contact me saying they couldn't ship it because I had cancelled it haha

It was FP.co.uk that I was dealing with or at least trying to deal with.

They were supposed to have the Tusken in Oct then it was November, then Xmas then I got an email from them saying they didn't know when it would be in stock so thats when I cancelled.

I am expecting Bossk to come in at about £140 / €165 incl Customs as I got $10 discount as it was my first ever order direct from SS.

Mine ships the first week of March.

I've bought loads from fpi (co.uk) and never had a problem when it's been preordered.
Hope that remains the same. I cancelled my tusken due to lack of funds but I hope bossk isn't the start of a new era!

Just read all those terms and conds. I do think it's a bit much that the moon also has to be in waning apogee phase to use this.
