Here's a couple pics of my friends.
Anyone know when BBTS is shipping this out? Very anxious to get him, looks great.
The scale of Bossk looks really good next to the Medicom Fett. Even quality and sculpt are comparable. Outstanding figure!
Actually you can see Bossk is taller than Fett in this picture. Even though he(Bossk) is on a downward slope to the left of Fett on the bridge.
But Bossk is closer to camera. That angle makes him look as tall as Vader.
The wiki says he's 1.9 meters. That's 6'2"... so he's a few inches taller than Fett.
So Bossk is taller, which was my point.

Those wikis/starwars.com references are sometimes just what LFL marketing people assign to the character - their relative heights can be off from what you see onscreen (which is the ultimate resource.)
Alan Harris (Bossk in ESB) apparently doubled for Fett in ROTJ Palace scenes (and another guy was in the Bossk suit,) so it's all pretty arbitrary in the Boba Vs Bossk height debate.
I always thought they were about the same, maybe Bossk slightly taller, but not in the way those images of the SSC Bossk next to the Medi Fett show.
Bossk is approx. 3,8% taller than Fett (According to wiki stats) while the Sideshow Bossk is approx. 8,6% taller than the Medicom Fett (measuring to the top of the helmet since it doesn’t come off). So, yes the Bossk figure is a little too tall when compared to the Medi Fett (or the other way around).
I remember when the 1/6 Sideshow Vader came out it became very obvious it was over-sized. But while we have plenty of reference material where Vader is facing off with other characters, Bossk is a totally different story altogether. I believe most have, at least to some part, made up in their own minds how tall this character actually is and I personally imagine him being clearly visibly taller than Fett and most of the other henchmen in Jabba's palace.
I must say I'm still amazed over how detailed and well made this new Bossk figure is and seeing these two side by side (still comparing to the Medi Fett which to me is THE reference figure for 1/6) I don't think I'd been able to tell they were actually made by two different companies if I hadn't known beforehand.
Sideshow is off to a very impressive start and I'm really looking forward to see what else 2013 has to offer.
