Man, I don't remember last when I was this excited about a SW figure.

I really do hope this is a new strategy or something by Sideshow because most of the time by the time it gets painted and done up over seas the final product is never as good as the proto.This figure looks exactly if not better than the proto. I hope Palpy, Sidious,Frodo,Sam and the other all turn out as great as Ben did.:chew

I doubt it. This has happened before. How many factories does Sideshow use? Because they need to use the one that did this more often.

Man those pictures of old Ben look amazing! I do hope Sideshow can keep this level of quality up, and I have no doubts that they can if they want to. Really, with the exception of a few blips along the road (Faramir), everything has met my expectations and I've been quite happy.

Unfortunately I have to wait to get my Ben Kenobi until after the holidays. I'll be out of town so Sideshow has to hold mine for a few extra days as they will only ship to the billing address and not the location where I will be fore a few days. It will give me something to look forward to after Christmas.

Noticed something kinda funny just now. I'm taking screen grabs from ANH to put the Obi figure into once I get him, , and I noticed that just after Obi-Wan hands Luke Anakin's saber, his hand is at his side making the same pose as the Legolas hand, so it's more than just a beard scratcher. Apparently it's the "Guinness Clutch" like the "Ford Finger of Doom".

Thanks for the pictures, I love seeing a nice new box , sorry I had to. He looks great, nice cell phone choice too btw.

I definitely see the paint apps being much like the Sarah Connor figure, makes me glad because I like those so I know I won't be dissappointed with Kenobi.
