I knew it would be a cool fig but I'm not lying that Dave's shots had a little worried on the gloss factor.

My pics are going to suck cause I have no lighting today at all. Its cloudy and crappy outside which makes the area I take pics dark even with all the lamps on.

When I took Ben out I saw the extra remote and went "What the hell?!?" but its kind of funny/cool at the same time.

Ben came today. Looks nearly identical to the prototype, which is great. I can't remember a Sideshow figure that turned out so similar to the prototype. I'm thrilled. Definately the best figure of the year, if not the entire line.

Who knew an Old guy could be the coolest figure yet?

I made a little 'Alec Guinness paunch' for my SS Old Ben.... the basic SS male body has a strapping physique, I thought a little bit of a gut would help compete the look.

Boy, did it! The belt and obi (the wide cloth belt/sash that sits under the leather Jedi toolbelt) now sit low on the torso, and it looks even more amazinger than when I got it.

As for the shininess.... watch Old Ben's scenes in ANH.... he's got the complexion of a dinner roll. He is one shiny old dude.

I hope the lighting tomorrow is better. It was so cloudy today that no place in the house was good to take pictures. Bums me out cause this figure deserves the best.

You referring to the Hayden vs. Shaw issue or the quality of the custom figure? Because I've seen the figure in person and it most certainly belongs with the others.
