How can a *future* figure be counted as the best ever made?Of course we're talking about what's been done up to this point.
Read the post dude.I said that I would rather that the best figure ever made honor go to a future figure like Vader or the Fett's,because I like those character's more than I like Old Ben.Or in other words,if SS puts the same or I would think a little more effort into a figure like Vader then that will be the best figure ever made,and not Old Ben.

I read your post, but I don't think you understand what you're saying. The best figure ever made is by definition a figure that has been made. We're not saying that this is the "best figure for all time."
Fellas, fellas, does it really matter how Ben ranks in the world of 1/6 figures, it's a kickass figure, let's leave it at that enjoy him instead of firing up another Star Wars fued. This thread has been full of positivity from it's conception, let's not derail that for something of no ultimate gain.

I had to take some license with the first one, I try to use the eyes as they are, but I had to photoshop them to be looking out the corners glaring down the stormies.

Wow, I love that picture Adam! The three Obi-Wans! Where again did you get that great head sculpt for the Episode 1 Obi-Wan? I'd love to get one and make my own Ep. 1 Obi-Wan someday like you did. I still plan on getting the Ep. 3 Obi-Wan by Sideshow someday too.
Have you thought about making a custom Obi-Wan from Episode 2?
Thanks Mike! I've been wantng to take that since I heard Old Ben was on the way.
I bought that young Obi head from Sunohc here at the board( https://sideshowcollectors.com/forums/showthread.php?t=19091&highlight=episode+obi-wan )then used various SSC clothes to outfit him with.
I'd love to have an Obi from Ep.2 but I'm no sculptor so either SS has to make one or somebody will have to do a custom sculpt. Either way a mullet Obi would rock.

I ordered a regular edition through Sideshow which just shipped last week, I imagine even dealer shipments have been off due to the holidays, I wouldn't be concerned just yet.

By the way, I'm going to be ordering one of those young Obi-wan heads myself. I was in contact with the sculptor a little while ago and he said he'd be sending them out soon. What did people use for his outfit?

Yes, very impressive repaint.
My only complaint about the factory paint job is the two-toned hair and beard. The line between the two colors is too obvious, although it's only really an issue if you're looking at it very closely.
