He really didn't need it, since the factory paint turned out so well, but I couldn't resist painting Trev's amazing sculpt. I also padded his tummy just a bit.
These are just quicky shots. Hopefully I'll do some nicer ones with lighting and some other figures soon.

That looks excellent Mikey. You brought out the awesome sculpt even more. 
Mikey, great job on the eyes, more realistic in their gloss and sans-white dot, looks good.

Could Obi-Wan possibly be THE Best 1/6th figure ever? It's the best I've ever owned and I've been collecting for over 25 years.
He certainly would rank high, but could he be called THE best, hard to say, he's certainly got some competition around with HT's Aliens, Predators and Endoskeletons to name a few other awe-inspiring pieces. As far as representing the source very well, Ben would rank high, especially in the portrait.
I certainly think you'd have a hard time finding a better 1/6 figure for under $60.
I think that's a very true statement, and I think he pushes the quality of low-priced 1/6 figures into the next price bracket without breaking the bank. If they adopt a new body and keep under $80, with Ben production quality, these figures will almost be revolutionary in the quality you get for the price you pay.
He may be the best SS figure to date,but as far as being THE best figure ever made,I would think not.I'd like to see that go to a future figure,Vader or one of the Fett's,a character that's just..a little... more.. desirable.I would have included Darth maul,but they made and screwed him up already.Besides Medicom is coming out with a better one.

Not really. If we were just talking 1/6 SW figures then it's possibly a top 5 figure but if you include all the other amazing pieces of work by other companies in the same scale over the years from all kinds of genre then it doesn't stand up quite so well.
Despite my general dislike of SSC's 1/6 figures I do think that the ANH Obi-Wan is excellent,easily the best figure they've done and if they can acheive this kind of quality on a more consistent basis as opposed to once in a blue moon then I could easily become intrested in the SW line again.
Thats a really impressive repaint Mikey. The best I have seen so far. You are king when it comes to making eyes that LIVE!
