Lol cheers Thundergod I think we should all be proud of what we've made since this thread was created. Stunning stuff and I think the best thing is we all bounce off each other in coming up with our Marines. That's what I love about that this thread

As for building it, you've a good eye there! I've got a massive collection of old Zoid toys and I used some guns and bits off them. Specifically the cannons which are Buster Eagle Cannons and the leg stablisers which are off Iron Kong. There's also some 1:44 Manga robot bits I had knocking about which I also used. It's worth raiding your parts box TG because you'll find something in there that'll spark an idea for another 1 of your awesome marines

What's the main build material there ? It looks like some kind of hardboard . And I take it you cut it with some kind of bench/jigsaw ?
( I'm getting serious "tool-envy" here ! )

ohhhh my word Nurse!!!!! No one as ever been envious of my tool! It has great comedy value.... The basic build is Medium density trouserboad and plasticard... I wanted to build the intire thing in plasticard but you know how it is... as or my TOOLS... I have a trusty jigalow saw and my fav a band saw cost an arm and a leg... well thats a wee exageration it was half a finger but I dont play the piano anymore.

After seeing Nash's topchuffnursetastical build I realise I need to up my game and really push myself on this build.... take my time and love it slow..... pics later
