hummmm where are the air bubbles Nash..... if they are mega small the primmer can highlight the problem which is a bummer.... I tend to sand it after priming.. if it still there I then mix up some milliput.. only a tiny amount.... and then get some water and push the milliput onto the area with any holes then dip my finger in the water and rub the area... that way you can smooth out the milliput and get it thin... or work it into the tiny bubbles.
Another way if they are micro bubbles is to paint the area first. Work it into the micro bubbles and put it on quite thick... that fills the bubbles and then you can sand it after its dried...
