Oww looking goooooooood..... coming together nicely :)

Lerath666 :( I KNOW :( and its really beginning to bug me now... It was fine at first but every time I look at it now it just looks WRONG..... I think... I will have to do a complete repaint...... I may try dry brushing it first...

Mark, the darker blue will make a good base coat for the lighter blue if you dry brush it. I think once you do that it'll look phenomenal :)

Some awesome marines going on in here, I'd love one myself ! ( when I get some spare cash I will definately buy some parts) .

I'd love to see what you could do with a Slaine custom Mark ! There's another universe waiting to be discovered right there.

Tell me about it Paul.... I do miss the Star Wars Universe but these Marines have really got me going... I am learning so much and having such fun.... You say the word when you want to make a Marine Paul and I will sort you out mate :)

Nash..... cheers man... the Wolfie has been dry brushed and I have taken pics.... just making a cuppa tea and I will post em :)

With that wee bit of encouragement from lerath666 i reworked the paint on the old Wolfie.... think its much better... and all the weathering will show up better too.... gooddddddiiieeee

Perfection mate! What a difference a different shade makes. It makes it even more individual to the regulate marines you started off on. Great job Mark. Im even more blown away at how fast you work. I'm sure I only posted my last message about half our ago!!

hahahah I have to work fast :) there is so much to dooooo :)

Thanks Mary Merkin.. do you think those skulls will be good for Alien and pred dio

lovely repaint on the Wolf Mark, I'm cooking a pork curry for the girlfriend at the moment, oh, hold on, should that be cook a curry and pork the girlfriend.............oh I get so mixed up these days..........NURSE!

I enjoying seeing the creativity on this customs when I peak at this thread.

Cheers samueljd, all the guys on here are putting so much into them and I am login seeing them too...

Ian....NURSE... you best get it the right way round!!! At least you are not cooking for the mother in law... or you could be in serious trouble!!!AHAHAH

Now I want to experiment with weathering...

To add scratches I am playing with my coloured pencils... the big ones as the small ones could easily get shoved up my nose when I am wearing pants on my head and I don't want folks to think I was mad :)

Also want to have a go with pastels or pigments.... they look like fun.

Mark, you can try MIG pigment. There's a forum also all about weathering.

https://www.migproductionsforums.com/phpBB3/viewforum.php?f=5&sid=00361e818c083b741f2a9cf8ebe25e23

But before you spend, try artists pastels, NOT OIL PASTELS, use a fine sandpaper or wet'n'dry paper to a really fine powder and try that out. You can get from any art shops or good hobby and craft type shops. Mind you the MIG ones are or seem to be a very strong concentrated colour. Oh, and the girlfriend decided against a curry and recommended that I eat more fish :lol

hahaha good for her :)...

Well I am afraid I went ahead and got me pastels out!!!!!! really should have read up first ahahha.. but I like to experiment as much as I can...... pics coming soon..

Looks awesome Marko!
The only thing I would change is maybe the elastic band on the elbow pads.
Maybe some brown leather straps with a buckle?
Might looks nice.

Other than that that is my fav you've done so far!
