Couldn't be happier with this figure! Come on sideshow bring on Leatherface and Michael Myers

I picked up mine yesterday. I am very happy with it as is. The only one missing from my perfect trifecta is OG Michael as many have stated. Maybe with the new Halloween movie coming next year they will be able to make one using the original design. I may expand my horror collection with the following if they make them in this scale. Leatherface, Chucky, Scream, Jeepers Creepers.

Great shot! I'm starting to really like the sculpt. I wonder what he would look like with repainted eyes, looking to the side.

The only thing that bothers me about him is the neck. In every picture I've seen so far, it looks too skinny. Or does it simply not photograph well?

The neck is tricky because its a double joint neck which thank god they made it that way. Makes posing so much better. But it really needs to be wider at the bottom where it fits into the torso. Also the sweater opening is too big so it makes it look even smaller. Englund has a long skinny neck but the joints make it look a little odd on the figure.

Thanks for in the input. Had a look at toyanxiety and saw parts are available, so I just ordered a spare sculpt. I want to see it in person to determine if I want to use it on my custom (which is currently using a repainted V1 Dream Warriors head). I might repaint the eye position, and if I feel ambitious, resculpt the neck to add some girth to it. :)

Got him today. Already removed the fedora and dremeled down the head/sanded down the inside of the hat. This guy is a lot of fun to pose. I'm having a hard time on deciding how I want to pose him. Think I'll eventually put him on a different body since this one feels a little rag doll ish.IMG_20170918_193836_519.jpg

Quick video I did of him. Some work: removed the hat, dremeled down the head peg/sanded down the inside of the hat. Added a wet gloss look to parts of his burned face and hand. Repainted the hat a dark brown. Modded the body by giving him more definition in the torso also fixing the rag doll articulation. Tightened up the sweater. Base is a modded HT DX base.

Thanks. Was thinking of doing something different with the base though, maybe a sidewalk with a Elm Street sign.

That might be cool too. I have a diorama on PO that I plan on cutting up and adapting to a basement theme. Hopefully it works out well.
