He's turned out to be one of my favourites.

I keep going into the collection room just to have another look at him.

He's a relatively simple figure, yet so effective, expressive and easy to pose.

He is a pretty kewl figure. With Ash, Lobo, Freddy and a decent Jason, SS is having a very good 1/6 year. Keep it going with Jack Burton

Jack is the big one.

A human face. No mask, no burns to hide behind.

Just a mullet and a prayer.

Sigh....I am still pissed about Jason and all the problems there.....

Kinda swore off buying from SSC after their lack of customer service on the issue....

But I would love a Freddy...-and this looks like the best we may see.

Problems ....first world order.

Definitely my favorite figure from Sideshow. Takes me back to my days of high school. I would love to be able to go back in time and tell me that this hobby is in my future.

Your pics are definitely the best I've seen of the figure so far.

Mail call! SSC 1/6 Scale Freddy Krueger! I've already managed to remove the fedora and mod it to sit lower on the head and also took some out of the neck peg to lower it a little as well. Overall very good figure minus the non removable hat and the way it comes stock with the fedora sitting up high on his head. Def will be tweaking him a little more weathering etc.

Looks great! How did you lower the hat? Did you simply shave off of the top that gets inserted into the hat, or did you also have to dremel around the crown (ie. shave down the sculpted part of his forhead, because the hat rests on it, instead of over it)?

I took the head off heated it up in boiling hot water pried the hat off dremeled off the top of the head (peg) that went up into the hat and also dremeled the hat out as well then reheated it up and pushed it down more. Here is some updated pics, I did some slight weathering, added more realistic blood to the gloved hands and adjusted the hat down little more. I also may do a repaint on the gloves as well.

Thanks! Looks much better with the hat lowered. Would it be possible to keep the hat resting where it is on the forehead, but pull it down in the back so that the rim is just slightly above the ears on the sides? I'd probably want to angle it another 2mm lower in the back and off to his left a bit. At first I thought he sometimes wore his hat higher, but looking at the pics, I think he has it slightly crooked, leaning toward his left side so that it's higher above his right hear than the left.

Loving this figure. Definitely glad I have him. Now hoping someone releases a Michael Myers so I can have the horror trinity.

Yeah but I don't like that look - needs to be the OG MM or part 2 at least. Maybe the body and then it can pick up a head... not sure.

Yeah I would've preferred the OG too, but for $150 I can settle for now.
