I will say in my defense that some of my Obnoxiousness comes from constantly being attacked on here where my Name in CONSTANTLY brought up or brought into conversations just to make fun of me! Always trying to bait me into a flame war (bringing political or religious attacks against me)...So,whether I SHOULD just ignore it,I play their GAMES right back as I don't tolerate being bullied (and even bullied in REAL life)

I have voiced my opinion of this figure and have had nothing negative to say about the figure though the ARAH Elite patrol needs to come in here constantly make it an issue or sling insults at me every chance they can get

BUT I like picking on Teemu, Ski is larger THAN LIFE! *cough* "BULLY" j/k Pfff, Teemu has sold me some of my gems at low cost, I love me some T!

ssv2 was always my dream toy...

Your collection is all about what *you* want, not what others vote for.
I'd suggest getting SS(As he is a really cool looking dynamic figure), and doing as has been suggested here and pick up a few key Destro parts from TA when they next part him, and build a custom Destro to your own tastes and have the best of both worlds.

I got Destro yesterday and I really like the figure. I agree about him being a little bit too skinny and the lack of hand options. For me the skinniness in the torso bothers me the most. If I pull on the shirt to puff it out a little and fill out the inside of the jacket, it looks better in my opinion. Other than those two gripes I'm pretty happy with the figure. I already ordered Baroness to go with him and I'm sure they'll look great together. I think Storm Shadow V2 is next on my list of figures to buy. Either him or Harley Quinn to go with my Joker figure. I'll probably wait until my reward points are available before buying anything else from Sideshow. I wish I didn't have to wait 40 days, but oh well.

Probably not a huge change if people don't like it, but this isn't a devgru line it's GI Joe. Everyone should do what makes them happy though and try not letting 'reality' get in the way, it's fantasy. What do I know though, I'd buy a SSC Pimp daddy Destro, and I'd be jumping up and down like a kid with a monster energy drink to see a Money bags version.

7 hands what an odd number the hand that looks like it's seizing is terrible. Ok does anyone have any idea's for types of hands since im going to paint mine silver I have been looking on ebay taking forever and it would be cool to get some idea i was thinking something smooth im not fond of destro's design hands they may look off painted silver.

I like the top portion but the bottoms have you tried adding a thigh attachment to give him wider thighs. Im thinking of doing that now since seeing how skinny the legs look. im guessing but the leggs do they have a side seam since it looks like that is the design.

I have no idea why other people like this figure. I only know why I don't like it. I have never seen it in hand, and I don't intend to. The aspects that I do not like will not change if I see it for myself.

**** 'em. You don't have to see it in hand (especially at this pricepoint). I have it in hand (so take that superfans and OG haters ) and all I can say is it's a complete and total ****ing shame so much work went into such a poor representation/modernization of a classic character. Once again, the zipper (vest) doesn't unzip because Sideshow's too cheap/lazy to remedy that issue. Additionally, utilizing velcro as a means of securing the vest with a shirt that snags if you look at it funny is yet another poor decision on the part of the design team. The trench is as lame as the eurotrash trench that came with CC. The body IS nicer, but in an age where other, less costly companies are utilizing fully sculpted bodies, Sideshow made a pair of padded pantyhose for Destro's vitamin-deficient, no assatall lower half and then went and pulled a Medicom by adding extensions at the ankles to cheat height. The lack of a pistol/gripping left hand with paintball glove is a blatantly moronic oversight. Lastly, just a matter of personal preference but since someone mentioned the Zartan smirk, I can't look at the modern head without seeing Zartan in disguise which has me displaying him with the RAH figure head. As usual the case is genius with the disassembled laser pistol and the other accessories are a-typical good Sideshow as are the holster and pouches. Also wish they would've used these boots with their lame 2.0 CC which would've added a minor improvement to that overall disaster.

Hopefully the SDCC release will be a Joe and blow us away. I already passed on SS 2.0 as I'm tired of duplicates and have my ninja fill, and am really tired of the unimpressive "updated" looks for the "Sci-Fi" figures. Makes it even more glaring when the figure can't be altered to give it a more classic design. At this point, I'm wondering if those who're designing these guys and those who like them, didn't like/read the Marvel books nor did they grow up with the Sunbow cartoon, but instead are huge fans of the DiC cartoon and the fluorescent latter runs that ruined the RAH line back in the day. The exception to this, of course, is teemu, who I really think is just ****ing 16-year-old girl going to a Bieber concert happy to see them putting out anything with the logo on it.

If you're not putting the se v2 gimp head on that with a leash and the baroness you're missing a golden opportunity. Not my cup o' tea but it does look spot on and extremely well executed.

I know what Alex said, but last year they stated there would be an SDCC Ex Joe for 2014. Theoretically, it would be announced before SDCC so Alex wouldn't be lying by stating that there won't be anything new "at SDCC." They're notorious for wordplay like that. That said, honestly, if there isn't, it won't be a surprise given it's a-typical Sideshow continually fumbling the ball on yet another license and driving it to it's demise while blaming their customers for "a lack of interest." Their history is littered with incidents just like this.

Looks much better then I would have thought on that.
They have a new body coming soon, it's possibly a improved KP 02. I might just wait for the new body for my Destro.
I'm not much of a fan of the shiny version of Destro's suit, but what you have done there looks great!
