That new in-hand photos bothers me a little due to the headsculpt and that eye really annoys me. I'm still getting the figure but I don't want to pay full price for it and I'll just wait for the price drop or some kind of discount for it. I don't mind missing out on the ex but Snake is still a must for my collection and right now from being my most anticipated figure he became my least anticipated figure of 2015.

Bring on HT John Matrix!

IMO the figure look cool and better than we ALL expected it will turn out. Some people are forgetting that this isn't a Hot Toys figure and it turned out better than Nathan Drake and 1/6 comic Superman. people will still get it and mod it, repaint it or get a new jacket, everybody does it with HT figures but if you are not getting it stop pointing nit picks and telling people why you don't wanna get it or trying to change their minds about buying it. You don't have to justify to anyone Not buying it, so please move along you had your say on the figure let the people that are getting it discuss.

Its such a shame as I really liked that sample figure, It really sucks they don't have a more scrutiny with what comes out of the factory. So can we have any hope for indy now?

And?
I do agree that for the money it's decent, but still years and years behind what good 1/6 hi-end figure is.

God this turned out like crap. This is the last time I give sideshow an optomistic benefit of the doubt.

Truely unacceptable. I don't understand why they just don't hang it up, be a distributor and statue manufacturer or go back to doing crappy 60 dollar 1/6 figures with a different expectation level.

I'm not expecting hot toys level but over 150 is a lot of money to expect anything to look below the level of the knock off kits we see from Hong Kong for 60 bucks.

The biggest change from the prototype is the jacket. It looks pretty bad now.

That's some big '70s disco lapels going on there!

If I keep this order I don't think he'll be wearing the jacket.

Lapels look like elephant ears. Outside of that, I think it's solid enough for the cost. The jacket was already wrong from day one since it's not weathered anyway.

Well I look forward to having mine in the UK in Jan 2015. A year later and got to say happy with this all round. £110 + postage. Some custom work as EVERY figure from ANY brand ends to require anyway.

What is NOT to like?

I canceled this a long time ago because I didn't want to have too many pre orders hanging over my head but I wonder what this will look like with a rock start paint job and weather. Lapels are huge, but I wonder if they were futzed and the whole jacket weather what this would be like.

Im waiting for a code and then Ill probably give this guy a go.

I could try to understand that you might be dissapointed about this figure, still the figure looks decent for the price and it looks better of what sideshow has put out recently, we all expected a Nathan Drake again. plus for $150 you have a body that might cost up to $60 plus $20 for the tattoo, nicely tailored clothes that could cost easily $70 to $80 or more, accurately sculpted and painted boots, accessories that maybe could cost $40 to $60, plus a HS that could cost $50 and if it were a custom HS still had to get the painted. Keep in mind that the prices are based on the prices I've seen here on the custom forum and Ebay.

The hate is strong in this thread. Must already be drunk for New Years because those production pics look pretty nice.
