Don't bother sending in the National Guard to break the strike, send in the nerds with their pitchforks and torches.

Don't worry.

We've got someone on the inside.

In 2015, the unionization rates in the United States rose four hundred percent. The once great Dock of Long Beach becomes a maximum security prison for Sideshow Collectibles. A fifty-foot wall of shipping crates are erected along the California shoreline. It completely surrounds Long Beach Port. All bridges and waterways are blocked by over flowing shipping containers. The International Longshore and Warehouse Union Locale 63, like an army, is encamped around the Port. There are no workers inside the Port, only the shipping containers being held prisoner. The rules are simple: once you arrive in Port, you don't come out.

I spoke with Sideshow earlier today and they are now saying end of February/early March. With the strike, it's only an estimate, because until that clears up, who knows?

I would say until the strike ends, there will be no dollies. Calling SS about it isn't going to end the strike sooner. :lol

There is stuff getting through. Rex has started shipping apparently and SS are bringing forward flex payments that they had pushed out (on Rex).

The strike is affecting their business schedule so of course they want to move up as many flex payments as they can because they need that money to keep the lights on.

And then there's THIS:

Escape From New York Remake Back On Track

AWSOME!! This gave me a big chuckle! While my Snake figure is in lockdown, I Pre-ordered the new shout factory blu-ray special edition of EFNY. For those intersted, go to shoutfactory.com-first batch of Pre-orders directly from them comes with an awesome 18"x24" artwork poster-really looking forward to the upgraded Blu.
