Mine is being delivered to my US freight forwarder today; I will pick it up with the Maleficent that was just shipped next week. From reading this thread, I will probably leave the body as is: weather the jacket, dry brush the hair, repaint the scar on the left cheek, re-paint the gloss black with matt finish, dry-brush the shin guards, sand the buckle and dirty up the belt, water treat and dirty up the pants. In other words this is getting the full treatment. I can't wait to get cracking on this.

Anyone making a mod thread for this figure? If not there should be one I wanna learn how to make all of those things.

We can probably just keep it in this thread... once the flurry of arrivals ends, it won't be too hard to keep up with.

I think the first thing I'll do is give the pants a tea bath, which is just getting a strong hot cup of tea and letting the pants soak in it for 5 to 10 minutes, rinse and let it dry and it gives it a more lived in a and worn look.

For the jacket I'll take some fine grit (not sure how fine just yet) sand paper to the high points and then work a bit of brown paint into it with my fingers to give it a more work and distressed look.

Both of these are very easy to do and will add quite a bit of realism to the piece :duff

Ugh. What's with the Marilyn Manson rib cage? :huh

The Brown paint for the jacket should be a kind of a mud color right?

I think that would be appropriate, but kind of a lighter color I'd think. Although I probably won't know for sure until I start working on him. But the nice thing with the paint is you can wash it off pretty easily if it's not right.... just have to do it before it dries.

And I should have mentioned, the paint should be pretty diluted, don't rub straight paint into the jacket :lol

You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to EVILFACE again.

Wow those are excellent. I think that first shot is probably the best the headsculpt has looked in this thread. Is that the stock or body you ordered?

Looks great EF! I think you captured him nicely... I'm thinking if the pupil was just a bit larger it would really help the eye not look so fake. But still, I think he's an overall solid figure from Sideshow.

Looks better overall in those pictures EF posted, but WTF is up with the tailoring on those pants, specifically the low waist?

Snake looks definitely solid in Evil's pics. Still not sure if I want to pick him up or not. I really want to though. I think I will...

A few pics before bed.....

Once again, I did that thing where I looked at these pics on my phone and thought it looked on par with Hot Toys, then I opened them on my laptop and saw otherwise :slap

Nonetheless those are some excellent pics and almost make me tempted to pick the figure up.

Almost.
