great looking pic!!

i honestly don't have an issue with the stock body. mine showed up over the weekend and once put together... the thing looks great in hand! really impressed with the whole figure. great paint apps, the sculpts always seem to look off a tad or crosseyed on the screaming one in pics. in hand, it's not the case. have no complaints at all with it on anything other than could use another set or 2 of hands... and maybe be $15-20 cheaper... but that's it.

I cancel my PO.... Now I do want it.
Seriously, we need more pics on this thread.

Fantastic pic Comatoast!
Glad to hear you like it. I saw it at a local toy shop and am highly considering it.

Thanks all! Yeah I really like it. I'm really not a fan of the Phicen bodies anyway, the joints look a a little weird to me when they're bent. Maybe they've improved them. The only thing I don't like - and this is one many bodies now, the Han Solo body being one as well) is the lack of movement in the elbow. I'd rather have a litte more of a joint showing if it meant I could close up the arm a little more. You can see in the picture that's as far as it goes. Which is fine for most people who pose it and put it in the cabinet, but for photography it's kind of limiting.

Beyond that though, it's a really solid figure! I'll have some more pics soon.

Can someone pls pose the full figure pictures if they have it in hand. Most people are sharing cropped pics and it will be great to see on hand pics.

OK so here's what the helmet can look like with a little water treatment. Basically get 2 cups of water. One with ice cold water and the other... microwave it for about two minutes until it just starts to boil. I used a twist tie around the lower half of the helmet to pull the lower tips together and hold them there. Then Dip that end of the face plate in to the hot water for about 8 seconds. Then immediately put the heated tip part in the cold water for another 8 seconds to set it. Also the black fur part of the helmet should be more tightly gathered together like a horse's tail and not frilly or wide spread. So I also dipped my tail portion of the hair part of the helmet in the hot water for about five seconds and shaped it and let it dry to what you see below in the pictures which is more screen accurate. That's your 5 min fix to improve the look 100%

looks great, Pro Design :clap thanks for showing. The tail of helmet was going to be my next question

no prob! fixing that helmet really does do amazing things for that figure. it was really my only sore spot. best 5 min mod i've done to date! the body was something i was curious about as i prefer a seamless body... but the paint detail that they put on the stock body is really good in hand and the pics don't do it justice.

Do you guys think the ACI Andrews body would fit?

doubt that one would look right as it looks too beefy / muscular to me. and the issue w/ any other bodies is going to get the skin tones matching up to the sculpt as it has a tiny bit different tone than the normal stuff i've seen.

I dunno what the issue with the body is, I think it looks good. Visible joints don't bother me Wrists are visible on most figures anyway. Not a fan of the way Phicens flatten out when the joinst are bent, but maybe they've improved. Proportionally I think it pretty spot on. I'll do the helmet fix and maybe weather the shield but I'm loving this fig! Another pic from my shoot yesterday..

Looks good here and you did a good job covering the joints. Do you have pictures of the leg in this pose. The leg joint in mctoys shoot bothers me the most. When Michael bent it - it looked like two pieces of disconnected slabs ... may be it was just that pose

yeah i agree it's a bit overpriced. i got mine for $195 shipped which i felt was a deal...

after having in hand, i'd say it's a solid $215 shipped figure. anytime getting something w/ 2 head sculpts, it's worth a few extra bucks to me. and the paint detail in hand is pretty impressive... both on the head and the body. the shield and helmet are really good too. def have a metallic look to them they pulled off well.
