When people were complaining in the Star Ace Kill Bill thread about having no confidence in their female sculpts after seeing Selene, Dave showed up and posted a pic of the Hermione sculpt. The fact that he hasn't addressed his thoughts on Selene is worrying.

I think it's a bit annoying that every time someone mentions the issues with a SA sculpt, a picture of Hermione is posted. Having just one picture to justify greatness says a lot.

Not that they've produced crap so far t be fair...

If I don't see an updated sculpt soon I'm going to cancel both Selene and Viktor...sorry to Timewalker toys, but I can't roll the dice on these.

Well, those two may be the only good if not great Underworld licensed figures we'll ever get, so I'm getting them.

Wow. Never thought I'd read you saying that. I'm still holding off on Viktor until they do or don't sort out this Selene mess.

Yeah man, as sad as it is that Selene headsculpt is bad and just like you I can't justify getting Viktor without an equally or close to equal version of Selene. Do we know who did each of the sculpts? I'm more than willing to drop thousands on this line but they have to be hood. I'd buy every version of every character they make.

I am hoping it's not as simple as it seems. However it puzzles me why posts would be deleted. The reality is that people were giving feedback on the figure for quite some time.

The outfit was average at best. The sculpt initially looked good but in subsequent pics looked well below average. Then the stand disappeared- just like that! . And more importantly "NO improvements were made" none what so ever, during preorder stage. Then michales review pics.
I am glad, and still proud that folks like Michael give honest reviews cause it's our hard earned money. If they start getting influenced by companies then rest assure we are in trouble (but hope that never happens)

Lastly, they may send Michael a perfectly painted sculpt that may look better than initial pics, but that's also cheating unless they plan to replicate 90+ % accuracy in prod (assuming there are always slight drop in quality)

In any case - two of my fav figures Selene and Leonidas are with them.

Even in leonidas they "photoshopped" joints in some pics which I have never seen hot toys do.

I am seriously doubting the ability, capability and intent of this company to begin with.

Now the good part about posts and feedback - delete as much as one wants, an easier job would be to fix the figure than "shut Mouths"

Yep. They need to establish a trend of producing high quality female figures, not just keep going back to how great Hermione was.

I hope they sort it out, for their sake. I'm gathering it's all too late though.

They oversupplied the UK on the early HP figures and that's why you can pick them up for a fraction of the cost now. I've lost hundreds on SA, and even though I don't intend to sell my HP figures, I'm not doing it any more. If they release Selene like that, I'll pick her up in a couple of months for a possible kitbash at a reasonable bargain price. The current price is just crazy.

Yeah, and I'll say it one more time - I think that Viktor is one of their best. For me, it might even be their best. Brilliant Figure.

They hit a home run for possibly the third most important character in the franchise, and apparently struck out on the most important...so very frustrating.

Here's a blood memory from Selene which shows her meeting Viktor for the first time. They are definitely not close to the same height.
