This is what's gonna happen- they won't change anything and then sales will suffer and then they will say hey no one buys such stuff and most people buy iron man crap.

They need to understand that if they fix this - their sales will be 4x of what they are likely to see otherwise. And if they don't the cancellation tsunami that they will see will overburden their hearts!

Yeah Star Ace is small enough that they have to make a correction now. Even if they do a voucher program like Asmus for an improved sculpt at no extra cost, this could long term effect them. Overall though their sculpts have been slipping outside Viktor. The POA Potter kids look so lifeless and uncanny valley worthy that it's creepy.

Just noticed the slopped on paint on the hair and a brush stroke? Ugh!

Not paint. That's a mold line. Probably what SA meant by un tooled. Meaning the final sculpt will be the same but with that flash line gone I think.

small details are there, like even the nose curve.
but something is very, very off. especially the eyes, both their position/shape and paint. nose is too fat as well but it won't be visible in hand at that scale. but eyes definitely must be repainted and maybe moved more to sides, i dunno.

90 pct of the time likeness is an issue because of the nose. They *****ed the nose on this one. Also that's the cutest feature of Kate - sob sob

i guess it's so much easier to make a Rambo sculpt than a beautiful female sculpt. just scratch some plastic with a fork and here is your Stallone face.

The new pics are alright. The hair on the left side of the face (or on the right side of the pics) is different with some additional hair paint on the forehead.

Less helmet like now.

Not sure if its the low quality pictures, as the new hair seems to be big globs of sculpting clay (like the early Sideshow products), whereas Michael's Selene had more fine details on sculpted hair.

A tiny improvement. If the hair retains the details, then just release it. I'll take it.

I give up, the hair is an improvement but blah, she's still Ms. Piggy and her eyes are very poorly painted. That's a pretty bad photo though.

I really can't see what's wrong with her. She looks fine to me...
No WOW factor, but she's okay, just overpriced.

If I hadn't have known what it was when I saw the photos Kit posted, I'd have guessed a 3 3/4" figure.

Though you can never go full ape on the first mobile snaps from Hong Kong retailers (BW Durden being a recent case in point).

I'm waiting for Michael's pics to decide, it is a huge improvement but these pics are kinda washed out.

Yeah they're not the greatest pics. There'll be much better ones coming along soon.

Problem is this looks like a 7" Neca toy . Not a 1/6 scale premium figure .
