Almost $50 for shipping! I am seriously thinking of canceling just on general principal...After 2 years my enthusiasm may be a bit too dampened to swallow that.

EMS (Speedpost) to the US?

According to Hong Kong post there's limited regular airmail available at present:

e-Express service (only to West Coast areas with postcode 81300 - 93999)

With the state America's in with the virus that could be a problem for some time. :(

Yep...In the invoice they mentioned that only EMS was available due to global affairs...it came out to $49 and some change USD.
It?s not their fault and understandable under the circumstances but the sting of paying that much for shipping is still there...

Paid up my invoice as well. Shipping price was painful, but it still only comes up to $150 total which I can live with (not including the deposit which is a distant memory now).

How much was this. I paid the 20% deposit now I’m being invoices for $150. Is that right?

He was 1000 HKD.

Less 20% deposit, leaves 800 HKD which is the equivalent of 103 USD at the moment.

If 150 USD is your final invoice, then shipping is 47 USD.

Thank you. Probably my first and last figure from Kghobby/Supermad.

$150 shipped for this figure isnt bad.

It would be about $175 with the deposit.

Because I paid in full, and because KGH reduced the shipping, I paid a total of 1130 HKD, which is $146 at today's exchange.

It was actually 103.05 GBP, which is pretty cheap for this figure. The dollar equivalent of that today is 129.50.

Cheap, good looking figure. The only downside is the waiting time.

I would feel better about paying $175 with free shipping...it should not make a difference but the notion of shelling out $50 just for shipping does not feel good.

Invoice paid. I was surprised to have gotten it this soon, but all's well. Having seen the in-hand photos so far, I think this figure turned out fine, especially for the price.

Thanks for the heads up on payments. I missed the PayPal invoice, was expecting something directly from KGH so did a quick search on my email.

I honestly can't complain about the price, even with the EMS shipping I really think the figure is still pretty cheap for this hobby.

I don’t understand why some companies say they must ship ems and others are still sending things epacket or whatever the cheap slow shipping is....oh well, paid my invoice and looking forward to the figure

I have not decided but I am leaning towards canceling mine. So frustrated with both KH Hobby and the quality of my Hunter D. Still waiting on a replacement for my damaged head sculpt and the other missing pieces, now they want me to mail the damaged head back to them. And I went to go pick Deckard up today and his feet were fused to the figure stand. In my temperature and humidity controlled collection room. But I cannot have him standing without it because his ankles are so floppy he has no chance of standing on his own. So like, now I have to find a different stand to use for him as well? Also as much as I would want a original Deckard, if I am only going to be able to order it from KG Hobby then I am passing. I have ordered 3 figures from them total and had damaged figures then terrible CS experience with 2 of them. /endrant

I had terribile experiences with KG over the last couple of years:

1) Broken c o c k at one of the flintlocks from DamToys AC Edward Kenway.
"Swallowed the pill" (minor damage) and moved on.

2) Broken plastic feather at helmet from TbLeague's Alexander The Great.
Initially they relpied that I had to wait 'cause they didn't have other stock.
I decided to email TbLeague but alas they had only a helmet with missing the top tube and its plume,
to which they even requested the money for shipping.
So I long waited for KG and after more than half a year they send a replacement,
only to discover that it was send damaged again (crumbling socket for same feather this time),
or it was damaged again when in transit.

3) Ordered Asmus Thorin only to receive an Asmus Bilbo!!!
After negotiations I paid a reduced price for Bilbo and had Thorin send again.
When I finally received him, there were new problems again:
a) the edge of the metal blade (Orcrist) was broken
b) one of the straps on the Oakenshiled was detached from the shield
c) one of the extra handpegs was broken
d) on the furcoat many strands on the back had fallen off
e & f) the base and the pole (stand) were both scratched

The worst on this matter was that they refused to help/replace Thorin's many damaged parts
and I had to contact directly Asmus in order to have replacements sent, which they happily did for free!

I don't think OSK did get these.

When I just Googled, the names that came up were Planet Action Figures, One Sixth Outfitters and Machinegun Figures/Quick Toy. Because SuperMad always send customers to KGH I was under the impression that they were the exclusive seller.

I've always found OSK to be far more reliable. KGH have made a number of invoicing errors. They once sent an invoice in US dollars instead of Hong Kong dollars. The top of the invoice never states what dollars they are, so I paid it as normal. I lost a load in exchange rate fees, both when paying and in receiving the refund. Lesson learned, I now always scroll down to the bottom of the invoice to check it's actually HKD. Recently they've sent me wrong invoices, but realised what they did and sent new ones minutes later.

They also sometimes completely ignore my order instructions and invent values for customs instead.

Another error they made was failing to supply the CooModel Deluxe Mummy I'd pre-ordered, saying they could only offer the regular. So they probably never put in the order for the deluxe.

OSK is by far my best supplier, they pack things excellent (didn't have any damage so far)
and the communication with Kit is fantastic, not like KG.
For example Kit emailed me and asked me if I would pay extra shipping for an order of mine which is instock,
I denied and I asked him to pay the figure with normal shipping as a guarantee for him that I had payed the total amount.
Kit replied there's no need to pay anything which he wouldn't send and he kept my order for me, refusing to take any money,
promised to notify me when normal shipping starts again.
On the other hand KG just send an invoice for K, staiting extra fee for EMS shipping,
increasing my total amount from $150 to $176 ($26 deposit, $150 invoiced now/instead of $124).

But They are getting the figure from Kg isn't it??

OSK didn't get K from Supermad at the time, cause they were a new untested company that Kit didn't trust them to deliver.
He was partially right, maybe after I receive the figure I can tell if he was right about the quality too.
If I remember correctly Kit now sells Supermad Toys figures (Mission Imcomple - Fallout Ethan).
Supermad has missed the mark on the release of K so many times though, that I feel Kit vindicated.

Thank you. Probably my first and last figure from Kghobby/Supermad.

I only ordered K from KG 'cause OSK didn't have him at the time, I hope to God this doesn't happen again.

Regardless of which shipping they use, I expect it'll still take an eternity for this to arrive at my door.

KG Hobby just posted that Hong Kong post is being shut down beginning today until the 26th of July and as a result all orders will be delayed. So I guess nothing will even be shipped for at least another week and that is assuming that they reopen on the 26th and the closure is not extended.
