This looks so much better than the default T-51 :)

I've been pushing off getting the T-51, but I'll have to get it (or another) soon, since this is just an armor pack :)

Wow this caught me off guard again, ordered without hesitation! This is a particularly sweet deal for me as I previously bought a loose power armor frame. Just wish it came with a weapon or some loose nuka cola bottles.

This is doubly strange too because threezero previously said they would not do armor packs, but not that I mind. It's great news IMO, maybe we will get more. Hopefully they make that power armor station in the pics!

Yeah, and I figured I'd buy all the figures to display. So, I don't have a loose frame for this without buying a regular T-51.... Ugh. This is a set of armor that I have nothing to put it on. Makes this a $500 purchase if I want to do that, buying a regular figure plus this armor set.

I don't think they are easy to find for obvious reasons. I bought mine from toy anxiety when they had a sale. Right now I just display the frame with the other armors. That was my permanent plan but now that plan has changed.

This release is just bizarre, even if it's an awesome suit and idea. I was REALLY hoping they'd do a T-51 in this suit. But, why didn't they release the T-51 with this as an exclusive version instead of doing that whole Think Geek crap months ago? The other figures released with an exclusive version.

Makes me think they were planning to make this an exclusive version, but ended up getting some deal done with Think Geek that preempted releasing these together. And so here we are, with a separate armor suit after they said they weren't going to do that. I hope the deal with Think Geek was fantastic, cause even though I really want to buy this suit, I'd have to buy another figure on top of that to display it. And these are far, far from cheap. The more I think about it, the more annoyed I get.

Yeah, I was pretty excited about this this morning, but after trying and failing to find a separate power armor frame, I'm a little annoyed. I still think it looks better than the original, and for now I'm still planning on getting it, but it would have been so much easier had this just been a separate release.

LMAO, all I kept reading was people complaining why they didn't just sell the armor piece so they didn't have to buy a whole figure. They finally give what people ask for and now there's complaining. Just can make everybody happy.

True. But, now that I have two figures already, I can understand why they were going to sell them as complete figures. Some people will like being able to switch out the figure they already have. But, I want to display them all. So, unless they're going to sell the endoskeleton on its own too, this means I have to buy a whole figure anyway plus this $120 armor set if I want to show it.

I was an advocate of selling the armor sets to begin with. But, after getting two of these so far, I know I would not want to swap out armor pieces all the time and eventually would end up boxing up a set and rarely if ever take it out. So, I've changed my mind on them selling armor on its own now that I have the experience of buying these and having them in hand and on display. Full figures make good sense to me now.

Yeah I remember people clamoring for armor kit packs and complaining about having to buy entire figures every time. Now some folks are miffed with this. I understand both points of view. I think the problem here is they said they wouldn't and now they did. Personally I hope they make more of these variant paintjob armor packs, I think $120 is a fair price and I would love to get more of them. I really think a weapon should be included though too.

I'd be fine with them selling armor sets, they just need to sell the frame separately too. I know it doesn't make business sense, so it probably won't happen, but I'd be happy.

^This. I think the armor set looks great but it doesn't hold any appeal to me since I never played the DLC. However, that power armor station in the background is a must have! I hope they release that station at some point down the line.

Also, I suspect that they might end up selling frames in the future. Honestly, I would rather buy a frame than an armor pack since I always feel bad covering up such an awesome figure. I am glad to see them branching out and trying new stuff with these armors.

Pre-ordered it immediately. Not a power armor I used at all, since it comes so late in the game, but it's very striking.

I'm all for armor sets and (hopefully) a future release of a frame. A frame and the armor station would be a great set. I also hope they do the Sole Survivor by him/herself down the line (in the jumpsuit).

Love this game. I've look forward to anything Fallout in 1/6. Even if i don't buy it. I'm just excited to see it. Don't have the room or money for all these full Armor figures. But would love that armor frame, Dog Meat and the Sole Survivor in different outfits. Some Gunner Combat Armor would be great.

Actually there is a rather easy way to make people happy. If you're going to sell armor sets also sell the frame separately ;p Generally that's how it would work. However this release is a bit of an awkward position because they said they wouldn't and they're already most of the way into the line and with no separate frame available. So now your only recourse if you want to display it with your other ones (that you're forced to buy frames for if you wanted them whether you liked it or not) but you'll also have to buy an entire other suit (with armor) just to be able to use this one.

It is actually one of the the worst possible ways to handle the decision to do armor sets or full figures only :p

Response from ThreeZero regarding buying the endoskeleton:

Dear Customer:
Please kindly note that only armor will be sold, we do not sell the frame.

People would still find something to complain about. No accessories, cost, etc.

Well, I mean....these days it's hard not to always say cost is something to complain about. We've been at this for a while now, and inflation has certainly been cutting at us a little bit at a time, and all those little nicks add up over time. I guess it's a good thing I'm pretty much out of space. I can't afford many of these things anymore. I'm making an exception for Fallout though ;). And Threezero has done a great job with the franchise thus far.
