That f'n "specially designed" sand base needs to be retired. Good grief, it's been so overused the mold must be ready to break ��
For this price point (which is most likely the new norm) a new, more inspired stand would've been welcome.

It looks well done going by the proto shots. At least they are offering different shoulder belts to allow for switching it up or to make having multiples look more appealing and not all the same, although at 250+ a pop, that's an expensive proposition.

Here's hoping this translates from proto to production with more success than the jawa did. They're already ahead...no lights or poop-muffin covers for the base....

Honestly, I just wish we could get a uniform display base across the whole Star Wars line. Add the sand thing as an additional topper or something, just don't force it, I want all of my figures on the same kind of base.

Are shipping dates getting pushed further and further away from preorder times anymore? Seems like there’s several other figures that have well over a year wait time on the books. I find it hard to get excited over releases like that much less plop down a payment on something so far out.

Yeah, I find it difficult to want to pre-order when releases are a good two years out at least in a lot of cases. Plus those are only the estimated dates. I’m pre-ordering less and just am waiting until closer to release date to order. Only exceptions are if I order from Alter Ego or somewhere with a limited stock.

I'm having the same exact thoughts. 2nd and 3rd quarter 2021 estimated shipping dates are so far out in the future, but I'm in no hurry to put money into them.

The only Star Wars pre-orders I have are for "Din & Child" and two Death-Troopers. Haven't pulled the lever on Snowspeeder Luke or Bespin Lando yet. I do want "2" of these Tuskens but will wait it out as well. In the meantime, the SS Reward Points continue accumulating...

I’ve got Din and the child preordered and that’s it with HT and SS. I preorder everything third party that I know I’ll want from HK retailers though. You always get a better price and free shipping. Plus for most third party figures the wait is only a few months which is really nice.

I went for 2 figures from Toysbuyingagent. I have found the retail price quoted by Sideshow, along with inflated shipping and tax, is enough for me to look elsewhere from now on. Anyways, hoping to swap out the figure on one of them for a smaller scale raider. Any suggestions as to which one to use?
