It’s interesting examining the construction of the ANH robe as opposed to the Mando version. ANH Tusken robe basically doesn’t have sleeves so to speak. Almost as if two large holes were cut in a sheet then partially sewn up so that only the hands can stick out whereas the Mando version actually has sleeves that stop 1/3rd the way up the forearm. And really tight fitting compared to the ANH robe.
I wonder why those changes were made. Did it seem more practical or as a natural evolution for the clothing as time went by? I’d like to know the thinking behind it and the cleaner look as well.
