Why would you want Hot Toys to get the license when you can get this figure for a bit more than half what Hot Toys would charge but and it wouldn't be much better than this?

I don't know if I'd say it wouldn't be much better than this. We know HT is on point when it comes to tailoring, & when on their "A" game, they could deliver a much better sculpt. I'd rather pay nearly double if that were the case.

I doubt Howard had any interest whatsoever in the Fury Road license so it's a moot point.

Also, Miller isn't licensing Mad Max products. So even if Howard had a man crush on Tom Hardy like he does on Johnny Depp, it wouldn't matter.

We wont know for sure until its released but from what I heard, prototype is not far away from final product.
