I still have a lot of enthusiasm for the line, I just don't feel the immediate need to buy them through Sideshow. Especially when exclusives aren't that great and you can usually buy the regular version cheaper somewhere else.
Yes, but that counts for virtually everything they make.

Yep. And for me, the new CA tax and excessive shipping charges also minimizes my need for exclusives unless it's like the Emperor's second head or something.

Gonna get Greedo, Gamorrean, Hammerhead, Yoda and Cody, all from a retailer for at least $20-$30 less the regular price.

Regs might even go on GC, so worth waiting

Just collected my two sets during dinner break, never expect them to be this heavy.:lol

The extra 10-20 bucks per figure really means nothing to me. I can rattle off a few reasons for that, but saving the money is cool for those that prefer that as well. It is all good.

Out of the 2 sets I bought. One turned out to be an "Exclusive" set.:slap
The light though working is way off the center-point of the table top....:( Hope Sideshow can improve on QC.

This issue aside, love the set.

I just canceled mine after reading some of your posts. I had the regular version on Pre order and thought whats the point when I can find it cheaper? I just have always dealt directly with Sideshow. Thanks for the insight.

Still, saving $10-20 over the course of 4-6 figures basically pays for a full one free. I like that.

Cancelled Greedo with SS and ordered thru Capstone... saved over $15 shipped. Now if I do that with Gammy, Hammy, Cody and Yoda, that's $75 saved... and that's nearly a figure in itself.

I do the same, I only buy exclusives direct from Sideshow. Everything else is typically from Alter Ego. Also, in addition to the 10% off you get reward points from AE worth an additional 2%. So really, the savings add up pretty quickly with them.

And, I've had nothing but excellent CS from them in the past.

Received it today and it's actually an amazing piece. I never expected it to be as big as it is, but it's right for the figs.

I heard some rattling in mine and I'm not happy with some of the glasses [one almost has nothing in it, a big blob missing] so back to Play it goes.
