Nice pic, JB! I see you got the staff too.

Any chance you'll get some of your outdoor shots with this one? He seems to suit it, if its not freezing out where you are.

Oh, it's freezing all right... :) In fact, yesterday was the first day in a while we were above the freezing mark....

But I'll see what I can do over the weekend....

Get the staff, Wor-Gar....it's cool.

Another great response Mikey.

I agree the mere brushing of this under the rug by Sideshow Sneaks is very lame. Another thing is that we need to understand that the cup was added into the final cost which we all paid for. If SS charged us at least an additional $5.00 in cost for that cup that would mean just the exclusives (1977,) that Sideshow stands to make an estimated $9,885. that's nearly 10k for such a simple item we'll never get. "Pretty sneaky Sis."

Now some of you suggested we go and buy the cup for an additional $5.00 sans S/H. Wow this cup just keeps getting more and more pricey. Have we found the holy grail? I asked SS for a slight refund seeing that the item was altered without any pricing change.

I agree. I think people who want one are owed a cup!

Anyone actually call customer service to state their case? The proof is right there on SSC's packaging.

For the people saying "just buy the nook, it has 3 glasses"... the product is sold out!

This pic is hilarious Stickman :rock

It is wicked cool, but I'm still happy without it. He'll be standing on a shelf with Greedo and hopefully Walrusman and Snaggletooth. I want them all looking like their Kenner forebears, and that's all I ask of them.

The staff might be good as a random extra accessory though. The only drawback is paying $15 extra for it

I think that if some of you have so few issues in your lives that you have to take an inconsequential issue as ridiculous as a little tiny glass that was listed on a box as included with an action figure that was not actually included, and make an issue out of it...

I want your lives.:)

The missing glass issue doesn't bother me at all. Still gonna enjoy this figure anyways.

Really diggin' this guy...

Like I said last night, I am truly impressed. This figure is top-notch all the way. Great engineering and design choices in bringing this unique alien into sixth-scale.
His big head is a soft plastic that is light (to help the figure not topple over) but still manages to have great sculpt detail and good paint apps. The costume has a neat trick too...a few strategically placed "sandbags" to help the jersey hang better and give it some shape...great idea here. The real rope belt adds some unique texture to his look. The feet are also detailed on the bottom and have some movement at the "ankle" area for more posing opportunities.
Although he's a "peaceful" guy(according to the box text), he comes with a gun, a very "distressed" looking stormie-style blaster and the exclusive is a golden staff that may bring a smile of recognition to longtime Hasbro collectors (like me :)). The box lists an additional accessory...a drinking glass, but it is not included with the figure (nor is there a spot in the accessory or figure tray for it). This is causing a bit of a stir here on the Freaks board, but it's absence doesn't take anything away from the figure...and if one really wants a glass, they can pick up the "nook" cantina environment.

As for me, my preference is to have this striking figure standing tall on display, not slumped in a chair behind a table...

Sideshow really stepped up with this one...a truly unique and fun figure for the collection. The old Ithorian is destined to become a favorite in my display...

C'mon folk! let's not let this one get swept away in the current wave of releases...keep the fresh pics coming!

Oh come on. It's not a big deal in the grand scheme of things, but then again NONE of these toys are, are they? I think people have a right to get (at least a little) upset when a company doesn't provide what they said they would.

I imagine if this happens with an NRD figure then the bellyaching will be more pronounced.

Its a minor annoyance, but in the end I'm fine as I'd never use the glass for display.
