I never could get into the GG 12" line. They're cool looking, but for the cost you could track down a good chunk of the original vintage line instead.

I really like it. It looks great if you have a cantina setup. Also, the body they used is good with tight joints. Totally worth it in my opinion. I got it for retail when it came out.

I wish I had the Cantina nook. Might still try to track one of these down though. I'd like Greedo too but he's so damn expensive.

It's an excellent figure dude, go for it. I got mine when it came out & it's one of my absolute faves - they nailed him, so no need for a redo with HH whatsoever.

This is coming from a person who generally hates SSC SW figures. :lol

Wow this is a fantastic figure! I bought this for $130 shipped thinking I was getting the regular version and the shop sent me an exclusive brand new. Very nice surprise. That staff is really cool accessory.

Saw this and Greedo on eBay last night for what seemed like decent prices but of course they shot up in the final minutes.

Greedo alone was on eBay last night for about $410 (end of auction). Too much for many of us i can imagine.

Greedo has been going steadily up in price throughout this year. All of them have been selling past $250, it's nuts. Almost all of the Hammerhead figs on eBay have sold for at least $200.

The Tusken Raider and Snowtrooper have continued to rise as well. So have all the accessories like E-web Cannon, Cantina sets etc, though not as drastic. The one rare set of Modal Nodes goes for big money too, most recent set went for $305.

Of course Bossk and IG-88 still command a good chunk of cash as well.

Couple pics. Very impressed with the sculpt and the body. As stated a few posts back the joints are tight and the cloths are really good. Sideshow just knocks aliens out of the park. Should stick with these there is definitely a niche there they can work with. Used the sandtrooper stand and I think it looks nice with the earthy tones.

I guess it's no coincidence that the figures I NEVER rotate off my shelf are the Tusken, Greedo, Hammerhead, Snowtrooper, Bossk and IG-88! They are (IMO) Sideshow's finest. They should stick to aliens and droids! ;)

Yeah I wish they'd go back to doing more aliens too. The upcoming Jawas will be nice but there are some good cantina aliens they could still do or even guys like Admiral Ackbar or Nien Nunb. They're better at creatures than they are human characters. Not only that but they fill a niche group of characters Hot Toys isn't as likely to make.
