I've been exchanging comments with rubio over at the Medi Fett thread.. he seems like a pretty objective dude to me..

Typed text can be misunderstood because it's not face to face conversation, so one's intended context can be lost unfortunately sometimes. Snap retort posts don't really help with clarity though..

I thought he gave a very level-headed and fair critique of the figure. Except for the first sentence, of course.

I'm not a hater and am looking forward to getting mine, but I frankly can't refute anything he said. All valid points, IMO. But I also think most of those things can be fixed with some minor futzing, so no big.

Pal, I'm getting real tired of you jumping on here to call people trolls. Who the hell do you have me confused with? Quote where I have bashed the company. In fact, I have gone out of my way to say how excited I am for the figure. You know why? So that people with very short attention spans would look at what I have to say without thinking I'm a troll, which I'm not. Debate my points, rather than just name call.

And I will take back the 'terrible picture'. It has nothing to do with the photographer or his skills. I thanked said photographer who shared the pictures. But the figure that the photographer snapped has some problems, and the photograph highlighted some of them. That was the purpose of my post.

Your points are valid, the figure has issues.
Any criticism seems to invite being called a troll.
There does seem to be some nice parts worth picking up loose.

The little inconsistencies don‘t really bother me. I don’t remove any of my 1/6 scale figures from their boxes anyway so it’s not like I’ll see it a whole lot for it to bug me. That said, I am still pretty excited for it, whenever SSC decides to ship it.

I am huge on personal accountability and repsonsibility. Khev, I don't hide behind the anonymity of the internet. Rubio is my last name. 95 is the year of my old tuner. Ryan Rubio + 1995 Honda Accord = rubio95. Nothing anonymous there.

Boba Fett is my favorite character of all time. I just want to talk about him. Good or bad.

Bummer is I remember you doing this once a long time ago (as you tend to be one of the first to get stuff) and a similar thing happened.

That's the knocks for being first. I remember the days well. Inevitably people will praise or punish the pics.

JML if you're still around and not heartbroken can you tell us a little about that vest? Is it foam or padding inside? Is it fairly pliable?
