Well, I still have not received a shipping confirmation! I talked to SSC today and they said that I would receive my confirmation by tonight. In an hour and a half it will be tomorrow.

Looks like our overseas friends are not too happy either. (If i'm reading that right from toysdaily)

"I can not believe my eyes ... only Boba Fett is the H in mind the goods; bad days to do do with the hand; the quality is so bad?? H Hutchison is saying the factories in the end what happened?"

Thanks to everyone who keeps posting new pics! Special thanks to AZelda!! Boba looks great in your pics, espcially that badazz cape!

I don't understand all those who have canceled their Boba, but I am sure everyone's got their own reasons...

Boba arrives for me on Tuesday which happens to be my birthday! Gonna be an awesome day! Can't wait for some more pics until then!

Why is this an abomination? Looks great to me, needs some futz but it'll work.
Abomination is a little strong of a word, but the problem for me can be summarized by checking out pics 10 and 11 on Sideshow's product page. Personally, I'm skeptical that the vest can be made to lay naturally on Fett but will be happy if I'm wrong.

And for those happy with the fig and looking forward to it, congrats.

Psh! Whatever, fools. This figure is fantastic. :nana:

I shot this using nothing but a cheap Target desk lamp and an ancient DSLR after drinking a bottle of wine. :chug

Vest seem fixable/futzable to you?

Absolutely. Well, sort of. I didn't see much of an issue with straight out of the box. Sure, I've obscured it with my placement of the gun, but that's more of an aesthetic choice as opposed to an actual attempt to conceal an imperfection.

I dig it. It looks like Boba Fett, man. Paint colors are no different than what we saw on the PF, which is, overall, a great depiction of Fett. (Wish I'd kept mine...) But this sixth-scale version is at least as good as the PF ... made better by the variety of potential poses.

Additionally, the foam in the pockets is a bit pliable. It can be worked into a softer, more maleable state. But I'd do it gently.

I've actually futzed with the figure after taking that snapshot, while writing this post, and it keeps getting better. Remember that this is sixth-scale. Customization is part of the process. If you want something to be perfect right out of the box, I suggest buying something fully-sculpted. For myself, I really dig the opportunity to make out of the figure exactly what I envisioned. Opinions vary, I'm sure. But for my money, this is the Fett figure to own.

Pics look good, Rook, maybe the best yet, IMHO. You bring up some good points, too... Looking forward to getting more impressions of this figure over the next week.

I can see it, noice.

Looks like Boba's wearing skinny jeans out of the box though. Still can't wait to see it in person, the green varies so much from pic to pic. The wait continues.

Just got him today and he really blows away any other Fett we've seen. Just comparing to the medicom - there's more textures, more detail and more posability.

Now I guess I should read the thread so I can learn why I'm completely wrong and he sucks.
