The square vest bugs me enough that I'd spend $50.00 or $100.00 to correct it and the braids. I dunno... is that cool that the collector has to have that burden when Sideshow could've just charged $200.00 or $225.00 and released the definitive Boba Fett? It would be one thing to me if the figure to most eyes had no flaws (or was $60.00 with flaws), but the problems with the vest and the braids is missed by no-one with a discerning eye. Anyway, sorry, I shouldn't have gotten into it with you. We just have different points of view when it comes to this release....Just looks pretty good already. Square vest is actually the only thing about him that bugs me a bit.
I really wish someone from SSC would explain why they made the changes they did.

LOL
As do i.
I can't stitch. Will someone volunteer their mom to help me with this mod?
I'll help! Decide what you want stitched and take it to your drycleaners and show their seamstress.
They're redoing my crumbly Anakin vest right now for the cost of an alteration and using real leather. They already did a jet black robe for him with wired hood and smoothed seams inside the hood unlike the original brown one which is all natty. If only I had thought to ask them years ago if they tailored scale clothing.
Probably going to be Boba's first stop iof I can't get the vest to my liking.
Don't consider it a fight. That's okay. I didn't really notice. I try not to allow myself to get into internet fights.
I never thought of going to the drycleaners for figure alterations. That's pretty cool. I'll probably do that too if I can't get FLOSI to fix it for me.

Because you can't sew or you're against sewing on a completed figure?
Pics after a good deal of futzing, like several hours. No hiding with the arms here. I tried to focus on the vest and highlight the remaining blocky-ness.
Alright, flame on!

I agree - we should definitely not need to make adjustments to such a high end item. It should be perfect out of the box.
Unfortunately just removing the backplate and pulling the vest tighter won't work. The sides are sewn improperly.
(The back must be screwed so the front armor doesn't flop around. Medicom used velcro which wasn't very successful).
I tried a few things before I stumbled upon stitching the vest tighter, including bending the stomach armor plate - DO NOT DO THIS - heat will cause it to deform, and not in a good way. That's why I won't post pics. But that isn't needed, the armor is fine.
The stitching can be done on a machine or by hand and just takes a couple of minutes.
