Just picked up mine form a local store. The sideshow boba fett looks amazing! In the pics below I have my marmit as well and before the sideshow one was announced I thought the marmit to be the most accurate fett to date, I can't stand medicoms.

After two hours of modding the vest/futzing this figure, all I have to say is...I ____ing love it! I'm so relieved that the Fett ended up being as awesome as I hoped he would be. The braids and vest are very minor annoyances in the context of this overall awesome figure.

Got him. What a terrible figure. I refused delivery. I could smell how bad it was through the box.

(Sorry. For some reason that joke is still funny to me.)

Over all I love this figure; however, it took a lot of work to get it to where I was happy with it. When I first got this it took about 2 hours to MOD. And after 2 more days of looking at it I have another hour of MODs done. I replaced the Wookie scalps with real looking hair, and I think I'm done now.

I didn't have any luck with getting the sleeves to stay in place when I push the armor on, toothpick failed and there wasn't enough rough for even the tiny tweezers I have.

My other big problem is the right hand that is configured to hold the gun with trigger finger isn't staying in the arm. Seems like the split post isn't staying wide enough to get the friction grip it needs inside the arm to stay in place solidly.

I took a small rubber band (like the ones used for hair) and wrapped it around the sleeve. Then the gauntlet slipped on just fine w/o bunching up the fabric.

I use those rubber bands a lot for boots and gloved figures. W/o them its pretty difficult to keep a realistic "tucked in" look.

As for the hand, I'd suggest swapping it to a different peg. Warm both hands up first though as the pegs on Prometheus bodies can tear pretty easily. I found many of the pegs on Boba to actually be too tight. So hopefully you'll find one that works.

Wrap some plumbers tape around the shaft of the wrist peg until it thickens the peg enough so that it grips the hole.
