If they did that he's gonna look like jango. LFL will not allow them to use anyone else because it doesn't mesh with the story.

Which may upset fans who don't like the PT...I don't entirely get that line of reasoning, they're not gonna put a David Prowse nor a James Earl Jones portrait with Vader, they'll use Sebastian Shaw for ROTJ or Hayden Christensen for ROTS. And for those who worry that Hayden will replace Sebastian for ROTJ...naw. I think I kinda see why Lucas replaced Hayden for the spirit scene (Anakin 'died' when he became Vader, therefore his ghost resembles him at the moment of his 'death'), but there's no need to change Sebastian in the Vader suit. More than one actor played Obi Wan and Anakin at different points in their lives; doesn't mean you need to replace Alec Guinness with Ewan McGreggor in ANH...

As for Boba - while it IS cannon that Boba is a perfect clone of Jango, that still doesn't mean we have any idea what he looks like (aside from Jango). Does he have scars? How many? Where? Tattoos? What's his hairstyle? Does he have any cybernetic parts? Piercings? See the problem? There's no cannon timeline for Boba between the Clone Wars and ANH, sooooo...I guess I'd rather have a 'concept' helmet as a pack-in, but we ain't gonna get one. Customizing time! :)

yeah, right about that.i dont want and i dont need an alternate head for boba,we never ever saw him without the helmet.30 years later,we kind a know how he might look like, but thats no reason to make one for the figure.

Please dont try and justify Lucas' mental collapse...it makes no sense. Anakin, Vader...he didnt die..and if thats the case..he was back to Anakin before his death in the death star...it was Lucas not being able to leave things alone because he is an egomaniac and a nutjob.

As far as the helmet goes..i dont want some cloner head on him...thats not how ESB went...we didnt know who he was..some people back then speculated he could have been female even..i remember this crap. If they are going to put a head underneath, put Jeremy Bullock's sculpt under there..just because he has been so identifiable with Fett ever since...Prowse not so much.

I think it would be a unique take on the figures...i still hold true to what I have said earlier, that when they do an R2..to have a Kenny Baker inside...just sayin

The moral of the new ROTJ doesn't make sense, be a goog jedi all your life you become an old ghost, Morally die young live a wicked life then repent you get a young ghost.....kinda screwed the morality tale for me anyway, at least the oringinal jedi made sense to me....

by this I guess I'm a no portrait guy but I want the helmet designed as a take off piece so that it sits naturally!

I first saw ROTJ in its 20th anniversary and I grew up with the prequels, but I'd pick a Sebastian Shaw ghost over a Hayden one any day. First time I saw the Hayden ghost i was like :horror :pfft: It destroys continuity for me..

Boba is another story though; a Morrison sculpt would be great, though i'm open to an OT actor sculpt. (as for what kind of morrison sculpt, a scar face would do..all the morrison heads look great so far)

Remember that Boba is the only unaltered clone, so it would be logical for him to have a better likeness to Jango than the other clones..

Actually, since the price is already out, any additional accessory would be more than welcome :lol

Hey, didn't say I was a FAN of the Hayden ghost, I just think I see where Lucas' logic (if it can be called that) originated. I was very much hoping that Anakin would be killed - quite literally - in ROTS (after choosing to serve the EMP) and brought back to life through the dark side as a rite of passage to the Sith. Would explain why Vader is so adamant that "it's too late for me" - he simply (literally) can't live without the dark side. He kills the Emp, has a few moments to spit out his last words, then dies. Hell, even the ghost of Hayden would make a little more sense in this scenario. Instead, Anakin has transition lens Sith eyes and other assorted weirdness...

Well, that's true - at the time of ESB no one knew much of anything, including Lucas (still the case). The development team kicked around the idea that Lando was one of the clones alluded to in the 'Clone Wars'. The stormtroopers had no back story yet. Hell, no one even knew what Vader looked like under the helmet. He wasn't Shaw until ROTJ, and I remember a lot of fans were disappointed with that reveal. So I guess the guy making up the story makes the final call (even when it sucks) and you can choose to either buy into certain details or not. I personally try to block out Jar Jar and Jake Lloyd all I can. :ignore: I can get behind the Jango Fett back story, it's not outrageously off the mark for me. Anakin building C-3PO, welllllll....

I like the PT in parts and like the Jango Fett character but still don't want it. They never showed Boba's face so we should never see it either despite what is underneath. Despite being canon we have no clue what has happened to him between AOTC to ANH (I guess if you go by Special Editions) from Lucas himself that is not taking into account Expanded Universe which to me is more the case to not deal with it since it'd be completely conceptual.

Guess you don't collect 3 3/4 action figures, because the latest Boba Fett has a removable helmet... and he looks like a scarred up Jango.

Doesnt what you just said agree with his point yet your statement is worded like is an argument against what he said.

Good point, but it may also be that LFL takes these collectibles more seriously..but then again, a morrison head for boba wouldn't be so bad. (good for me, actually)

Thats why you could have a little fun with it. Take some info from the EU and use it to make it a little different. So I'd be ok with a sculpt like that being added in.

I like that they put Hayden in there and the reasons given make sense to me. Guess, I'm not the typical SW fan. :lol

Exactly :lol

Well, to be fair most SW fans take SW a little serious. I mean just above Lucas gets called a nutjob because he made a change or that fans think the OT is perfect gold yet its got many of the same exact problems as the PT.
