Yeah it probably doesn't help that the whole time he's wearing it he's either getting beat up by a Wampa or is lying in the snow freezing to death and having visions.

At least in his Hoth outfit Han got to look heroic saving Luke, slicing open Tauntauns, and blasting Probe Droids. :D

Just watched Da Bomd Show's look at this one. I think it looks pretty good. On the jacket front though...I wish they would place the snaps in a little further so the edges of them wouldn't be so obviously in view.

And the eyes...one thing I think is an unfortunate "safe bet" here is that we're going to see a huge variety of different looks on both Luke and Han depending on how the eyes are set in the head. Could either end up with something somewhat decent like Da Bomb has or with a crazed, dead-eyed "I've had no sleep in a century" stare or something in between. It's gonna be a mystery til you open the box. That's the only thing I am NOT looking forward to about these figures.

Still looking forward to what Rory has come up with here....I'm sure it'll take it to the next level and then some....

As for the rest of us, fingers crossed the eyes aren't.... :)

The interesting thing I noticed with the eyes is that they are exactly the same on my two SS heads. (Apart from sloppy paint) the holes match perfectly with each head. Left eye hole smaller and pupil is aligned reasonably well, the right eye is huge and badly cut with shifted pupil. So there is some consistency.

Without getting too negative about the figure, I must say that the parka collar looks overly chunky & low end-ish.

I'm sure that could've been tailored a bit nicer. :lol

Oh man... so Luke is taller than Han. WTF sideshow... are they trying to drive me away :huh

I was able to accept the stupidity of the Han and Luke Stormtroopers being he same height... it was laziness on their part, but I could accept it. But to actually make Luke taller than Han... and on figures that cost $200. Just ****ing awful.

I will say the Luke likeness is better than the HT... but of course the quality of paint apps and those eyes just kill it.

Does look like Luke has a bit of a distended chin... so maybe a bit of heat and reshaping might bring out the likeness even more.

Rory said his set came correct with Han being taller than Luke. Both paramoremcr88 and StealthV3teran have gotten the reverse so who knows if there's any logic to the flub-up.

But yeah, this kind of mistake is beyond inexcusable.

So maybe there are two bodies being used... but anyone's guess what body your figures will end up with :lol

Just awful. I hate to say this as I've been a long time supporter of Sideshow, but if my figures are the wrong height first will get the requisite replacement bodies from them and then I will be done ordering human figures made by them. X-Wing Luke is the first figure I've passed on due to cost, but if they give me a Luke that's taller than Han for $400 they can just keep the rest of them.

Their site claims they're both 12" tall, which is unfortunate, but at the very least the information was provided before people placed their orders. If they've produced two bodies in an attempt to make Luke shorter, but have somehow screwed up assembly, I'll let them know and I'll fix the issue on this end. It won't stop me from ordering from them in the future if they happen to produce something I want. I can't think of any other company that produces figures that are scaled to each other at something close to 1/6. Figures are usually of generic height unless the character is significantly taller or shorter than the 6' mark. Even Hot Toys scale is all over the place for instance.

Sure, but in the history of Sideshow they have always (with the exception of the Stormtrooper set) placed Luke on a shorter body than Han. So, even though it says 12", I think it's fair to assume that the figures would continue to be properly scale.

But you're right, that might be Sideshow's way of protecting themselves, but at this price point there is no excuse for not using a shorter body. Especially when the Pro 1.0 is the correct height and available :huh

And another one bites the dust. I liked the first video that that girl posted but the more I mull over this Luke the more I'm just not feeling the eyes, the vest, and other things. I still think it's a cool figure but just not $200 cool. Cancelled Luke so it's a total shutout regarding Han, Luke, and therefore the tauntaun. I admit that it's quite the relief financially. I just can't drop down that kind of cash if I have any reservations at all.

I just realized that as each day passed I was dreading seeing the withdrawal from Sideshow instead of excitement over Luke's arrival. Not good.

Cancelled mine too. Gone are the days of just paying for a figure and just accepting it. I should not have to mod a $200 figure
