I haven't really done anything to clothing, weathered futzed, and haven't fixed belt or scarf etc yet. Let alone repainted or snowed. But I will post a pic of the head shortly.

Very rough, huge amount to do, but I love the proportions on a TT. Not futzed or weathered/painted.

Looking good already. And you managed to close the vest as well.

Is that a Slim TT?
:
Did you have to make any alterations to fit the gloves and boots?

:duff
It's Bespin Luke body. Fits perfectly. The vest closes fine if you tighten the undergarment. Boots are HT, I have another modded pair prepped for him, hands fit fine without modding, although they are a little big, like most SS hands, so i may look for alternates.

The HT body looks way way better for proportions. I don't know about the face...that sort of determined expression maybe doesn't fit so well for the specific scene.

That's just cause you are used to looking at the smiley bug face. :lol I guess it's subjective. Personally I think this is gonna rock on a tauntaun, as you can have him looking left right from the saddle. And I hate PERS generally.

Thanks for the rundown.

The Bespin Luke body is a TT Slim, which is good as I have one of those currently wearing the SS Jedi Luke outfit.

That Jedi outfit would probably fit better on the bigger Hoth Luke body, so two birds with one stone!

The hands look fine - they're gloves meant for the extreme cold. :wink1:

I missed that the boots were HT's, but even so the SS ones ought to fit the Slim even if I have to leave the pegs out.

Hands: Luke had light gloves on, but I guess you could stretch the imagination. :lol Everything else fits perfectly.

Maybe I'm in the minority here but the loss of bulk with the TT slim doesn't feel right since he's supposed to be wearing bulkier snow gear so he doesn't die out in the cold. The size of the head also looks a little too small for the head gear, at least compared with some of the shots of Hammil posted here.
Still curious to see your figure on the Tauntaun, as you said the PERS might make for some cool poses and some of those issues I mentioned might not matter when he's up on the TaunTaun.

And I also found another reference for the Wampa wounded head:

That looks like the look SS went for with the exclusive. Great find.

I think the HT head looks surprisingly good on that figure (much like with the Sideshow Luke, the likeness seem to look a helluva lot better without the terrible hair getting in the way). But have to agree with TonTon that the costume needs to look a lot bulkier.

It doesn't. It wasn't bulky in Empire. In fact this is still way too big. The SSC coat isn't cut accurately, nor is most of his outfit the correct colour. But there you are.

And that's as bulky as it was on the SS body. No change.

Look at the picture of the real Hamill above, that doesn't look bulky at all.

I'm talking more about the legs actually. Look a little emaciated and overall slightly out of scale compared with how it was originally, that's all. I also think the promo shots are different than actual film shots in terms of overall bulk.
